What's your dog/pup's favorite itchy spot?

Where does your pooch like to be scratched?

Sheiba LOVES having her tummy rubbed. She falls right to sleep when you rub her tummy. She also enjoys getting gentles rubs on the head.

Denali likes her head and sides scratched. She loves to have her face all smooshed around and massaged and her usual when someone comes home is to jump up and let them scratch both of her sides. She has had an occassional liking of a butt scratch.

Lilly loves to have her chest scratched. Once you hit that spot she just becomes paralyzed. She starts to drool and gets this dazed look on her face like she's gone brain dead. LOL

Sarge LOVES hit BUTT scratched! Oh that is his one and only spot he adores. His nub turns to the side, and his knees get weak and he slowly collapses on his rear end and starts licking the air LOL He's so silly. I posted a picture of him doing it once on here.

So where does your poochy like to be scratched?

They love having by their tails scratched. Colby does her huffy puffy sounds and arches her back when I do that, lol. Toppy looooves having her belly rubbed. May just plain likes attention. She doesn't care where the heck you pet her just pet her.

Anywhere on Kinos back/but will make his leg go crazy....he usually falls over....
He also loves his chest scratched..he smiles his little sammy smile and drools when you hit the one spot....I seem to be the only one who can get that spot, but everyone loves watching me do it cuz he smiles...

the Min Pins both love it behind their ears.

Tasmo LOVES to be scratched all around his neck, especially behind his ears. He makes a smily face and lifts his ears all the way up and tilts his head from side to side when I scratch his neck.

I haven't found a favorite spot on Bitty yet!!! She just loves any kind scratch, but loves playing more. She chooses playing over being scratched any day.

Shoulder blades. I think it's a common "Yorkie Spot". Tiny, does Missy swoon if you massage her shoulder blades?

The Boonster loves LOVES his belly rubbed. He'll even open his legs up while he's laying down if he thinks you're even going to come close to touching his belly. He has no shame. LOL

Hey, Icey! I don't think Sarge is weird at all! Boone's other fav spot is his butt too! He does the same thing Sarge does, his butt just collapses and he looks up at me in adoration for scratching his behind. It's really hilarious.

Jesse has that favourite spot on his butt that he loves being scratched and he loves his little round head being massaged, but his all time favourite place to have scratched his his stop and the base of his muzzle. That little place between his eyes is heaven to him.

Shelby loves to have her belly scratched, and will usually roll right over on her back when you go for her belly.

I don't know where Bear's itchy spot is...

Beethoven also likes his belly scratched, but not as much as Shelb. I think they're too young to really like sitting still to be petted.

Cragar loves belly rubs, too... but his absolute favorite spot is the inside of his thigh right where it meets his body - I call it his "leggy spot"... if he's laying down, I'll say "gimmee your leggy" and up goes his leg for a little scratch... LOL

Although, he does love the tummy rubs more since Christmas - "gramma and grampa" got him a puppy massager - it's a little handheld thing shaped like a paw, with "bristles" (almost like a brush, but wider-spaced) on it, and it vibrates. LOL If he's laying down, I'll use it on his back, but in no time, he's rolled over, legs spread wide apart, front paws up in the air... like, "massage me!!!!"

I don't think he has one of those "spots" though - the ones when you scratch it and his leg goes crazy - if he has one, I never found it!!!

Dakota doesn't care much, anywhere someone wants to scratch him is just fine with him. But he prefers for me to pet his head/neck/shoulders. He's always leaning up against me with his head in my lap. Yeah, maybe it's "demanding" behavior, but it's sooo darn cute, I can't resist. He works so well with me, he deserves that little extra bit of spoiling.

Ripley's favorite spot is his belly. He will roll over and whine until he gets his belly scratches. And he doesn't like PETTING, he likes SCRATCHING. My dad scratches him so hard, it almost rolls him over/knocks him off his feet and Ripley loves it, and keeps coming back for more.

My last two dogs loved having their butts scratched. Shiner would swoon when I scratched her butt and hind legs, and Buddy didn't enjoy petting anywhere outside of a certain spot right above the base of his tail. Buster, my mom's Labrador, also likes to have his butt scratched.

Lyric loves his back right in front of his tail scratched and will arch up and sway side to side, even stepping side to side to make sure the whole area gets a good scratch. He also loves his ears rubbed inside and the inside of his thighs. He lifts his leg out to make it easier for me to get at. LOL. The Chi's like their ears rubbed too and their withers....tummies too. Bonnie use to love that spot on the back right close to the tail too. That had to be her fav.

Blackie likes to be rubbed behind his ears. I mean he LOVES it. He'll lean into it and grunt and grunt. lol It is soooooooo funny. He also likes his tummy rubbed.

Rose likes her ears scratched too, but I think she likes her neck area rubbed the most. She likes her belly rubbed too.
