Hey gang, I'm back!!

Hey all!

I hope you're year has been better than mine!! I've missed our many conversations, and everyone one's friendliness.

So here's what's been going on with me...

My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer, so we've been dealing with that. She's been through her chemo, radiation, and surgery, and is doing well as far as I know (we don't talk anymore, just needed to put some space between us for a while).

Mufasas Daddy asked me to marry him in late January, we are planning a May wedding in 2008, which K9 will be at!!

Mufasas Daddy was involved in a horrific car accident in August. He suffered a broken femur, broke his hip (same leg as the broken femur), fractured his T1 in his back, severe concussion, lacerations to his face, and multiple scrapes, cuts and bruises. He spent 6 days in the ICU, and 3 days in the hospital on top of that, so for a week and a half, I was at the hospital everyday, as much as I could be(I started a new job like 3 weeks prior to that, so that was fun taking time off from a new job! thank the lord my boss is awesome!)

I moved to northern MD, 2 hours away from my original location, so now I live in mountainous country. It's a long way to work, but it's a nice leisurely drive.

Hmmm....let's see, I can't think of anything else, how is everyone else doing?

Yeah, pretty rough year but sometimes you need the bad to appreciate the good. Things are looking up for the holiday season!

For the sake of the thread....
Going to FA next week, and then in January to North Carolina for a Stallion show. Haven't done ANY christmas shopping yet, so we all know what I am doing this weekend . LOVING my new barn more and more everyday (I am trying my hardest tomorrow to take pictures of her dogs...they are the *cutest* and most well behaved little things). And most importantly...finals next week! *eek*

Can't wait for next year to come.

Welcome back!

I am so sorry to hear about your sister and your fiance... I hope they are both recovering well, I can imagine it hasn't been easy for either of them.

Congratulations on your engagement, at least there is some good news from you! My sister got engaged to her boyfriend a couple of weeks ago. They haven't set a date for the wedding, though.

You certainly are having a very busy year. I hope your sister will be cancer free and live a very long and happy life.
Do you really do a two hour commute to work? Do you have lots of acres now?

Yeah, 2007 hasn't really been too great, but what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger.

My sister is cancer free now, as far as I know. We don't talk anymore, due to other circumstances, but I know that she'll be o.k. I wish her a long and happy life. She'll make it.

Yeah, I really have a 1 1/2-2 hour commute to work now. It's about 70 miles, and depending on traffic depends on how long it takes me, leaving at 6:00 vs 6:15 makes a huge difference and the drive home is another story! We got snow last week, but we're getting rain now. It's so weird here with the weather, one day it is 20 degrees, the next day it's like 50. Weird.

Ok, well, Mufasas Daddy and I are getting ready to go X-Mas shopping, then I may come back and bake some cookies, K9?? Want some when I drive by your house??

I will talk to you all soon!!!! Happy Holidays from Mufasa, and his sister Krush.
