New Year's Eve

Happy New Year's Eve!

What are doing for the holidays? I am having some tasty Chinese Food for dinner.

I cannot believe it is going be 2008 already. I can remember trying to patching all my computers for the Y2K glitch 8 years ago.

Happy New Year! It's already 2008 here in Australia. It's looking like a good year too.

Cass.

LOL Cass! Lucky you. Haha!

I'm babysitting for someone's New Years party until I get the kids to sleep, then I'll probably come home and relax. I stayed up too late last night. lol

We are planning to just chill over here --watching videos, drinking tasty libations . The Chinese food sounds good though. I might order some for dinner!

I'm currently sitting at home with a few friends having some drinks at home. Watched a couple of movies, Shoot Em Up and Rush Hour 3. Both pretty darn funny in parts.
I don't go out on New Years Eve anymore, although the actual night out was fun when I used to go out, I couldn't stand the obnoxious and annoying drunk strangers, long hours of waiting in the cold for a cab ride home, and being incapacitated for New Years Day. LOL

Tomorrow I'm going to be taking the dogs to the park to pull me around on the sled during the day. They enjoy that as much as I do. LOL And in the evening my parents have invited me over for a shindig at their place with them and their friends. Always a hoot, a bunch of silly English folk who are a great laugh, but say the word "lovely" WAAAYYY too much! I'm English also, but I've learned to limit myself to the amount of times I use that word.

I stayed home last night and drew... for 7 hours! I usually go out with my friends but heaps of them have the travel bug and weren't around to celebrate with (and all my family decided to take off too). I actually liked not having to deal with all the hassle of NYE night (all the police around, drunks, no cabs). It was nice to relax and have a drink and do whatever I liked.

LOL at BB.

I got to take care of 43 dogs in at work plus 5 cats....I now have a splitting headache (thank you, oh pain in the butt Mastiff, Max!). And apparently listening to 43 dogs all barking at the same time in an inclosed space wasn't enough torture, as my mom is bringing home two of my younger brother's annoying friends to spend the night.

But hey, on the bright side, tomorrow's a new year!!! Tonight I'm going to cozy up with one of the new books I got for Christmas (I got five 800-900 page novels.....I'm so excited! LOL They are written by Terry Goodkind and they are in his Sword of Truth series...I haven't read Epic Fantasy in so long and have forgotten what a tale a good author can spin!) in my peaceful room (or as peaceful as it can be with two ferrets and a sister) and eat and drink to my hearts content. Maybe I can talk my mom into making a virgin Margarita for me and put the blender I got her to good use. LOL

Happy New Years everybody! Now I'm just going to have to get used to writing 2008 instead of 2007. That is such a pain to switch over. LOL

Ohh, that would be awesome! But I must have had a few too many drinks tonight, I swear I first read that as "thank you, oh pain in the bull mastiff"...
