How is your weather?

I just got a foot of snow this morning after getting nearly a foot last week. What a surprise this morning. The roof my house had to be cleaned today. Been getting a lot of snow this year.

How is your weather?

Up heah in Maine, we got a lot of heavy snow; power went out several times. I love snow and I rather enjoy shoveling and snow blowing (except my blower ran out of gas this morning and the snow was too heavy anyway to do any good). Don't you know, as soon as I got my driveway all nice and shovelled out, the town plow came around. That really frosts me when they pile up a foot or two at the end of my driveway.

Ummm, it's cloudy and raining right now. Temperature is 80 and expected to go down to the low 70's over night.

We got a light dusting of snow last night, and it's still fairly mild out. Tonight we're supposed to get about 5 inches of snow, which I'm THRILLED about. Can't wait to get the dogs out with the sled in the morning! (errrr, more likely early afternoon after my recovery time from New Years Eve)

I live in Indiana. What more can I say. LOL One day it is in the low fiftys with warm sun and no breeze, the next it is in the teens with six inches of snow and a biting wind.
When we had the snow, the rodes were horrible. There is a hill (or more like a dip) you have to go down and then back up on the way to my house from in town. That hill was coated with nothing but ice. I almost lost control of my car (and I was going slow - in front wheel drive) and was doing fish tails all the way down. Come to find out, later that day, there were people up at the top of the hill yelling at drivers to slow down. At the bottom of the hill there was a car with a four door truck flipped over on top of it. Now THAT was scary.

Currently, it is about 30 some odd degrees out and raining. The rain is expected to turn into freezing rain and then snow later tonight. Ick. I don't mind the snow, but this muddy, slushy, mess we have now is no fun at all. At least when we have snow the mud is frozen.

It is boiling hot and HUMID here!! *cries* I hate this weather. Please send me some snow... anyone? Please! I woke up a thousand times last night because I was so hot (even with the airconditioning on). I can't wait for summer to be over. It's my least favourite month. It's currently 27°C but feels more like 40 with the humidity, which is currently at 57%.

Well Swift yesterday it WAS 41 degrees celsius (think that's 106 farenheit) here yesterday and the day before that it absolutely sucks!! Today it's "only" going to be 38 they think - I don't mind the hot weather but 38 is about my limit and I'm ready for it to cool off just a little for a while!! On the upside though its taking 5 minutes for my washing to dry

You poooor thing, Rivsky! Do you have the humidity to go with it? I feel like I can hardly breath here, the air is so sticky and dense. I took the dogs for a 2 1/2 hour walk on Sunday, and the next day I realised my shoulders are both burnt badly. I put heaps of sunblock on and tried to stay in the shade as much as possible, but that sun sure was striking down.

Fortunatley it hasn't been too humid. Last night was a bit gross though as it was so hot plus we had a lot of cloud cover so got a little gross for a while, fortunately the skies have cleared up today so we got rid of that!!

I hope the sunburn isn't too painful - I've been lucky so far I've managed to escape any sunburn but I am getting a bit brown so unforutnately some of the sun must be getting through.

Right now it's about 20*F. For the last few days we would wake to snow but this morning we got nothing. We've got quite a bit this year and they say more is on the way.

We have more then our share I would be more then happy to send some away!!!

People really clean off there roofs when they get lots of snow? I have never heard of that... we have always had the roofs, actually the whole area has the kind of roofs that are made so snow will properly slide off. Guess that means we always get to much

Seriously folks, send me your addresses! I want this stuff gone! lol
