Some of the dogs that are bred strictly for sport are almost too ball driven to be a good K9. Also something I have heard quoted around certain circles--ScH vs Personal Protection--not only is the "bad guy"not going to have a sleeve on, he's not going to take time to set up blinds and other obstacles for the sport dog. if we were seriously discussing this, i dont think there is much doubt it would be KNPV - after all, its actually a police dog test
schutzhund is truly "just a sport" and while MR, FR, PSA, etc make it more realistic, i am not sure they compare at this point to KNPV. |
