OMG, that is so sad, I almost cried. People are such idiots. I hope that man is charged with something.

Oh, that's terrible and they were on their own property. My breeder had that happen to her boy who was going to be her next show dog. He was in a huge field ajacent to her property. It wasn't her property, but it was in the middle of nowhere and nowhere near any people. When I was there picking up my puppy, I met this dog and he was the sweetest, friendly Doberman youngster that I could imagine. When I first arrived, he came out to greet me with a bark and then a wag and full body wiggle. He was overjoyed to have company...such a character. He lived but his leg was ruined forever and had $14,000 worth of surgeries. How can somebody do this? That, to me is murder what happened to that pittie.

How horrible for Ruby's mom!! She must be just devastated!! People really go overboard when they see a pit bull and it is not the pit bull's fault! How hope that they give the neighbor exactly what he deserves!! Tie him to a tree and have three pit bullies lick him to death - he would probably die of fright before they even got to him!

This is horrible. I can't even begin to express how angry this makes me. I hope she manages to get the guy who did it. No way should he be allowed to get away with this murder, and attempted murder (thank goodness one of them survived!).

If a neighbor shot my dog, I'd take his friken gun and shoot him!!!!

Yep, that'd work. Along with thousands of years in prison. But the sad thing is, He probably won't even get a couple of years.

I think animal abuse laws need to get stronger. And that BSL should die out. THAT is what we need. Stop making all of these stupid laws about ear cropping and tail docking and start making the abuse laws more firm and get the BSL out of here!
