It opened and I closed it. I can't watch it anymore. I've seen it so many times, I've learned to not watch things that make me sad like that.

I had to turn it off..... I can't see things like that. It makes me too sad and frankly sick to my stomach. I am so repulsed by the people who allow things like that to happen to dogs. I didn't watch the whole thing, so I have no idea how bad the picture got, but I can only imagine.....

I found it to be an exceptionally powerful film. Everytime I watch it I get chills.

A while ago I had a friend inform me that pit bulls were nothing but "baby killing monsters." Believe me, I tried to discover what her sources were exactly, but of course, as one might imagine, she "couldn't remember, but knew that it happened all of the time." Thus began the reeductation of said friend - and I started with sending her this film, and calling her until she informed me she had watched it. After this (and several lectures, handouts, and websites) she was forced to admit that she knew literally nothing about pit bulls, bsl, dog attacks, etc, and that, having been exposed to the information, she would be forced to reconsider. I don't think the film will necessarily cure the most rabid of pit bull haters, but I do think it could be a valuable tool when confronting someone that is uneducated in this arena, and is merely harboring predjudice.

Thanks for posting the link. I was actually looking for it a while ago.

That is the most touching thing I've ever seen....I actually started to cry. That is how many people picture a Pit Bull; the first photos, of the dogs, trying to maul anything in their path. Sickening. I am a bit sick to my stomach, from the pictures of all the poor babies who had the severe misfortune of falling into the hands of such monsters. This film has really made me want to help the rescued Pits (more than I did before, if that's possible). Thank you so much, Furry Angel, for posting this for us!

Please, everyone, watch the film until it's over, and see just what a "Pit Bull" really is. I own a dog that is a Pit bull mix, and he's the most loyal dog I've ever had. The film proves an absolutely terrific point. Thanks again.

Yes, I thought the babies laying on top of the Pits was very sweet. The Pits were enjoying themselves .

Thank you very much for sharing that. That is a very powerful video and it makes me very sad that pit bulls ae used for the fighting purpose.....no dog should have to undure that and it angers me to know that anyone could do that to a dog.

Having Lucky, who is a pit bull/shepard mix, I know that pits are nothing like the evil that they are said to be. The only pits that I have ever met are sweet and I know my Lucky would never harm a soul unless I was in danger. Thank you once again for sharing this. It makes me want to continue on with my dream to become a veterinarian and to inform people how to properly care for their animals.

This video reminds me of my friend Jeanine who rescues unwanted dogs. She got a call one day about 2 pits who had been left outside for years with no shelter and had marks and scars all over them -- a male and female. She got her hands on them (I won't tell you how : )----but anyway, she immediately crated them when she got home because she was usure how they would react since they had been mistreated and she has 3 small children in her home. The 2 pits did not seem to mind at all, even at feeding time, they refused to come out of the crate, for months they would not leave the security of the crate. They shook if you went to close the crate. Imagine an animal that powerful so afraid, and even after all the mistreatment they endured, they were non aggressive.
Well, I went over to visit her one day because I was dying to meet these 2 since she had told me so much about them and how she was trying so hard to get them to come out an interact with her and the family. When I went into the kitchen area with her, both of our mouths dropped to the floor----her littlest daughter (only 3 years old) had opened the door to the crate and was snuggling with the dogs!! At first we were scared to death, until we saw them licking and kissing her, their tails even wagged for the first time ever! It was truly amazing---I think we both had tears in our eyes. To this day she still has them both (she usually fosters and then finds great homes) only now they roam around the house, sleep in the bed, and interact with the whole family. It took literally years, but they finally began to trust humans again. The Pit is truly an amazing breed.

What a wonderful story madmax! That brought a tear to my eye! It's always nice to hear the stories of pits getting a second chance to live a great life with people that really know how to care for an animal.
