I just saw what I guess was a re-run? It was like watching a biography of some of my closest friends. I get a kick out of Liberace, (Is that its name?) the little TFT. At least,I think it's a TFT.. Not sure. It's a cute little dog.

But the session with him and the "trainer" reminds me SO MUCH of what I went through while seeing if people could "help" ripley. Shame on that trainer for scaring the crap out of that little dog and still yanking on its harness for not wanting to approach him.

Wasn't impressed with the little I watched. German Shepherds mating in the kitchen and the lady going "ohh, she's like, letting him! This is good!". Whippets on Flexis if I saw correctly, then unrestrained in the car. A Weim on a plane for 8 hours straight- no place to go potty, and withheld water so she wouldn't have to go...

Not impressed. But maybe I'm just critical.

Ya know, there were some things that I saw that I didn't care for but lets face it, everyone has a different way of raising there children and it really is no different with our dogs.

The GSD scene in the kitchen is one that I've seen personally with several dog owners who have had troubles breeding their bitch and have so many hopes riding on the breeding. Nope, can't say I'd be thrilled with it taking place in my kitchen but I can see where their coming from.

The Whippet and the Weim people drove me nuts, unrestrained dogs, the flexi leads, and the thought of someone traveling seven hours by car for one freaking point?!? I'm sorry but when those numbers come out the week before the show it isn't like you don't know that its one point and why put your dog through all that for one point? It isn't as if there won't be other chances for another point somewhere along the line.

The TFT was adorable but I didn't see a reason to switch trainers just because the pup decided to throw a fit, lots of pups throw a hissy when they aren't used to wearing a harness or anything else for that matter and I thought the trainer handled it very well, was very gentle with the pup while still trying to get his point across to the puppy. He didn't push the issue and knew when to say enough. jmo The TFT's owners I think have a rude awakening when it comes time for shows. jmo

It just amused me to sit back and watch the different types of people and how they are with their dogs; I love to just sit back and watch people anyway and the dog shows are great fun to get a good look at how people are with their animals.

Eh, Crossfire all i noticed was the fact that the dog was scared and the trainer was still pulling it around. Didn't see much gentleness about that. jmo.

The whippet people.. Ugh. Only time I'd drive 7 hours was if it was for a major. Going all that way for one point is just ridiculous.

I just watched it. I missed it last night. About the only normal people on that show are the ones with the Aussies. It was pretty interesting, I'll be watching next week for sure.

It was so funny! There were some things that made me roll my eyes or stare in disbelief but you have to remember that the show chose the craziest people they could find for good t.v. I'm glad not ALL dog show people are like that but I sure get a kick out of watching the ones that are!
I can't wait to see what happens when those guys with the tft go in the ring knowing absolutley nothing I saw a preview for a future episode showing one of them in the ring wearing a tank top and camo shorts!!!!! Don't they see that other male handlers are dressed in suits???? This is going to be good

I just caught some it last night for the first time. I guess it was the re-run with the two guys and the TFT and the lasy trying to breed her GSD. Do the new shows come on Wednesdays?
