Kortright's Maply Syrup Festival

Hey guys just thought I'd let everyone know that if you live in the Southern Ontario area and are looking for a fun filled day to spend with your family, come on out to the Kortright Centre in Toronto (located near Wonderland) this Sunday (April 3) and you will see me, my mushing mentor, and her friend representing the Siberian Husky Club of Canada and simply promoting our wonderful breed. If the ground's dry enough, I'll be doing demo dog-scooter runs. If it's not we'll still have a pretty display set up and OC and me will be entertaining the crowd with obedience drills and cute tricks.

Hope to see anyone there!!!

BTW if you can't make it out this weekend, the SHCC will have representatives out for the next few weekends as well.

Oh I'm sorry that this is really late, but I went to the Kortright Centre a couple weeks back with my Aunt and Uncle, I saw sled dogs and the owner told us all about Huskys and sledding.

He also gave us some flyers for some sled races next year, and I hope to go and see them.

I believe Joel was the one there two weeks ago, I was there last week with Colleen and Leon. We had 3 dogs with us, Oceano, Ronin and Rambo. I'll try and post a more advanced notice next winter of upcoming races at Kortright

I don't think that was him, this dude had like 5 dogs with him. He had a beard and a teenage daughter, too. He said something about just starting to dogsled, so he couldn't answer many of our questions...
