We met two of our neighbors. We will be the youngest homeowners in the neighborhood. 3 of the 4 houses right around us have dogs. A Pom, a Minature (forgot) and a LARGE yellow mix. Weve met two of them, one wasnt home, the others were in their Florida home for the month.

I hope the fence will be up by the end of April. If not theni t will be in less then 4 weeks. I get my taxes back soon, as well as a refund from school, so the fence will be the first thing in.

What a great area. You have tons of room. The house has great potitional for adding on if you ever wanted to. I see a window upstairs. Is it a loft that can be made into a bedroom? Are your floors wood? Do you have a firplace? Usually those homes have wood floors. It's a kings ransome to put wood floors in these days, but I dearly love them. I can just see the lace curtains gently flowing in the breeze and smell the bacon. What a charming, adorable home. Here in CA. it would be called a cottage. They sell for 8 & 9 hundred thousand in Santa Barbara, WITHOUT all that property!!
Mine wont have all the charm, and of course NO elbow room either.

Its already a full bedroom... According to the realtor, its actually two, but to me its one HUGE bedroom with two sections, since there are no walls or doors to seperate them. Its nice. The walls were never finished unfortunatly, we will get to that soon.
We do plan to add an addition on the back, a dining room and something above it.

They arnt finished wood unfortunatly. The house used to have finsihed wood, but back in 1972 the city had a horrible flood, and the house is only 100 yards from the river, that flooded. So when they re-did it they never finished the floors the same. We are going to install them in the kitchen though with in a few years.
We dont have a fireplace, persay. We have a wood stove surrounded by hand lain stone.
