I finally have time to say hello!
Mom and I are preparing for my son Eric and his family to visit in exactly one week! We went grocery shopping this morning and went all out getting goodies for the grill and other things for the kids. Then when I got home and let the doggies outside I realized I could no longer see the poop piles in the grass to pick them up... Sooo guess what I did in 90 degree heat... Yep, I cut the grass. As soon as I was finished and had everything put away that pool sounded so good that I rushed into the house and got my suit on and plunged right in! AAAAHHHH!! it was like bath water 92* and just what I needed. When I began to shrivel up like a prune I reluctantly got out of the water and went into the house... And promptly fell asleep in my chair.. So now dinner is finished and I have a few minutes to say howdy to all of you.. This Florida lifestyle is to my liking I think! Brandi and Kadin too they run and play no matter how hot it is.. Of course the little girls don't like to be showed up so they get into the fray as well. What fun we have!
A game of tag is the order of the day. Maggie likes to supervise.... ![]() We're chilling out in the shade after a race around the yard ![]() Ok, back to the game... Tag, Bonnie you're it! ![]() Everyone have a great night |

It sounds like you'll have a great time with your son and his family visiting!
I bet they'll be enjoying the pool too! The doggies are gorgeous and seem to be lavishing in the Florida lifestyle as well. |

They are all gorgeous! How many shelties do you have in your care right now? How many are fosters and how many are permanent?

Brandi and Kadin are my dogs. The rest (four in all) are fosters. I give the fosters as much loving care as I do my own two. In fact they are treated exactly the same except for their food and bed time. Brandi and Kadin sleep on the bed with me and the fosters are snug in their comfortable crates over night.
![]() I do feed the fosters kibble and my own are on home cooking exclusively. It's not fair to the dog or to the prospective adoptee for me to introduce them to home cooking unless their new family is intending to continue with the program. So they are fed a high quality kibble that is furnished by our rescue organization. |
