Stinky dog

Well you'd think I would know better by now, but I don't. We give Dudley table scraps from time to time, nothing that is bad for him, but as a treat, and everytime we do he has horrible stinky nasty gas, so as you have probably guessed I gave him the leftovers from lunch today and he is stinking me out, its awful. He's laying on the floor next to me sleeping peacfully, and letting em rip. Just thought I would share.

LOL My guys have done that before. Especially if we give them some fresh veggies --- they let um fly! Lugar is the worst with that! No canned food for him either. If he has any sort of canned food mixed with his dry -- forget it! Hahaha

LOL. Canned food does that to Kenya. She stinks up my entire bedroom while resting.

Mixing dog food with people food is really bad for them. If you don't use dog food, and you just home cook for them it's healthier, safer and they won't gas up.

I have been thinking of making his food for him, but I have to do some more research first. I am pretty sure he is having an allergic reaction to his new food (and I thought it was so good for him, supposedly human grade, no fillers), he has been chewing on his feet lately (more so than he usually does), and yesterday I noticed he had chewed the fur off his back "toe", so right now we are going to switch back to his old food, and I called the vet and was told to give him a little benadryl as well, and if it is not better in a week (less than that) I will bring him in, but as his licking got worse right round the time his food was switched, I am guessing that is all it is. Do you know of any websites I might look into to help with homecooked meals? What I should give him what I shouldn't, ect, what gives him gas what doesn't, lol.
