Yappy hour

So we went to "yappy hour" last night. It is a sort of playgroup for dogs, and they serve doggie beer to the dogs and the real stuff to the owners. Dudley had a blast. He was unsure and a little scared at first because we got there a little late and all the dogs had to greet him right away and the kinda cornered him and there was a little tussle, but he got used to all the new dogs, and them to him and he had a grand old time. The one he liked the best (and also the one that he had the most trouble with at first) was this HUGE great dane (beautiful brindle one who had the go about 180 lbs) named Finn. Dudley could literally walk right under him. He was scared at first, but then he realized that Finn was on a leash and he could be all tough and then run away, lol (Finn was friendly but did not realize how big he was so he was kept on leash) they had fun with some rough play until Finn got tuckered out and lay down. Dudley was one of the last dogs standing, lol, all the other dogs had enough and layed down and Dud ran around like "hey guys lets play". He also LOVED the beer, one of the only dogs who showed any interest in it, so the free play group ended up costing me 12 bucks cause I just had to buy him a six pack. I wish I had remembered my camera, there were some beautiful dogs there (there were like ten there).

Dudley had fun pestering poor Finn. Sounds like he had a blast. lol

Are you sure he was getting the doggie beer instead of the people beer. hahaha! What a guy........life of the party. Hope you can get him into doggie groups more often. It seems to be his nich.

It is a great little place, next month they are having a "Birthday Bash", for all the doggie birthdays and gotcha days over the year, one big party to celebrate them all, they are going to have pupcakes, and it is a 3 hour long thing. I can't wait, Im so excited. And I have to remember the camera this time.
