The Return of REX
Yesterday I got a call from a lady who had adopted one of our Great Danes from us back in January. His name is Rex, and he's a 3 year old male Blue Great Dane. I guess he's just not working out in his new home. The lady works 8 - 13 hours a day, and Rex is getting destructive because he's not used to being left home alone for such long hours. She's recently started crated him, and he's really not liking that since he's never been kept crated before. When we adopted Rex out to this lady, she had told us that she only worked 8 hours per day, and that he husband and children were home a lot during the day. I guess it's just not working out the way she had planned, so I arranged to get him back. And, last night he was returned to us. He seems really happy to be back home, I can tell he really missed us, and seems to have missed the other dogs too. I think he's going to be staying for good this time. I hate to see dogs being bounced around, and Rex has already been in 4 different homes, now. I'm not working such long hours anymore. I'll have more time to spend with him then I did when we placed him, so he's probably back home to stay.

OMG he's adorable! I've always wanted a Dane, and the blues I think are just stunning!
Hmmm..... *looks at dangles' profile stating "Michigan" and seriously thinks of dognapping Rex* ![]() |

Bless you for keeping him this time. He needs a good stable home and will probably take him a few months to realize he has one now. Bless his heart. Just be very loving and patient with him, as I'm sure you will be.

He is a very sweet and docile boy, he's also very playful, and really enjoys playing with the other Danes. |
