Kendra, I'll try to get some pictures of that. It fascinates me too. LOL I have no idea how the heck they do it. But the babies look so snug and are usually fast asleep. I might even get some video of it if I can.

Anyhoo...it's two days to go now and I still need shoes! Hahahahaha! Off to the shopping centre I go.

Awesome, thanks Cass! Every culture seems to have their own way, I used the European wraps and ties when Sammy was tiny. Although, I was never brave enough to put her on my back without a diaper like I see in picts from China, Japan, Peru and Africa, it is very fascinating.

You're taking picts of doggies too right? Do they have Wild Basenji in Kenya, Tanzania, or are they only in the Congo?

Never saw a single basenji in Kenya. The dogs I saw there were no different to your average stray mutt in suburbia.

Hey everyone! Nope, not back in Australia yet. I'm sitting in a cyber cafe in Nanyuki, Kenya. Had to come here to change my flights. I'm getting back a few days later than originally planned. Just thought I'd drop in and say hi since I had the chance. I got HEAPS of pictures...even pictures of African dogs too. Can't wait to show you all. Talk more when I get back home in a week or so.

Just spoke with Cass on MSN for about an hour or so - she was in Bangkok, Thailand, waiting in the hotel lobby for the time to come to go catch her cab to the airport to take her back to Australia. Her flight departs at 11:59pm, Thailand time; it's roughly 8:30pm there now, which is when the cab is scheduled to pick her up; and she arrives in Sydney at around 1pm Sydney time... Roughly a 9.5 hour flight. She said to tell the GP community that she says hi and that she'd be back with us very soon. Yaaaayyyy!!!!
