Where we've been....

Jeff and I are back on-line....awkward silence....no, just kidding. Anyways, we are back and catching up on stuff.

So where have we been, well we moved out of our house and in with relatives until we got on our feet again. We are now happily settled in Pismo Beach and finally got internet. It's been a long time since Jeff and I liked where we live, so we are in shock and busy exploring our new surroundings.

Hank is settling in nice and the cat is loving her new turf.

We'll post pictures soon, we have tons of Hank photos to share.

Welcome back! I was wondering where you and jeff ran off too for a while now. lol

Do you live out in the country now? I did not know you had a cat. You will have to post pics of the cat.

Yup, well we finally gave up on Hollister and loving the coast. I wish we had property or off the grid but we decided to keep close to town and the beach. We are in an older development which backs up against a large cattle ranch, it's really quiet and we don't get vacation/beach traffic which is nice. We do hear coyotes at night, so we keep kitty indoors from dust till dawn. It's so nice to hear the frogs, crickets and wild critters all day and night. Not digging the spiders or wasps but we are managing to keep them outdoors or low populations in the house :P

Kitty pictures coming soon. I've actually had my cat for 6 years but guess I never posted pictures...tomorrow though, I'm beat and heading off to bed.

It's nice to have you guys back again! And, it's great to hear how well everyone's settled in. How does Sam like her new home? I bet she'd have a ton of fun with all that open space, and with the beach so close by. I'm looking forward to the photos!

Welcome back! Have to love country living...I can't stand it in town. When I spend the night with friends in town I'm all jumpy because of all of the noise. When friends spend the night out here they are all jumpy because of the silence. I'd take tree frogs, crickets, owls, and coyotes to traffic, alarms, and voices any day.

Glad you guys are enjoying life in the country.... i'm not a town person either. I lived in town for a very short time, and I didn't like it at all. Once a country girl, always a country girl lol.

I posted pictures last night....

The house is strange, it's a duplex-type house, they call'em twin homes though. Just like any other beach town, we have tiny yards and all the houses are super close to each other but instead of back neighbors we have open space so it doesn't feel so crowded.

Erin - Samantha loves the new house especially with the beach so close, she's turning into a real beach kid loves digging up stuff, she really wants to surf but that terrifies me. Swimming lessons are a must here.

I thought she'd be upset, especially sad and lonely from leaving all the neighbor kids and their animals but no, she was up for a new adventure I think having her Grandparents and cousins close makes up for it.

Hank loves the carpet, we haven't had carpet in over 4 years and he hated the laminate flooring we had in the other house. Now, he runs around in circles and jumps over everything.

Missy the kitty loves all the neighbors, bugs, birds and lizards. There's so many critters she's almost overwhelmed.
