Does anyone know of a dog or animal rescue place that sells dog gear to make money to help them out. Does that make sense?
I want to buy some harnesses and I thought it would be nice if I could buy through a dog rescue to help them out, ya know? I buy my rat food this way. |

I don't know of any rescues who do that locally, but our vet does sell dog toys, leashes, collars, ect. She donates the profit to her vet fund, to help low income people afford vet care for their pets.
I think that would be a great idea for rescues, as well. |

Here, in Australia, if you buy products from the RSPCA (aka SPCA, ASPCA etc) the profits they make go directly to the RSPCA. It might be worth checking out the Humane Society's website (PetFulfillment Store: Dog/Cat Supplies - Accessories for your dog, cat, you, your home) to see if the products they sell contribute to any causes/rescues etc.
