What is the most embarrassing things your dog has done?
Kenya surprised my aunt once. my aunt was sitting on the couch and Kenya decided to jump up on the couch. My poor aunt and Kenya fell over backwards. ![]() |

Hmmm, I'd have to say PJ embarrasses me a lot, he "slimes" me all the time with his droolies, and I don't always notice. It's kinda hard to explain these dried crusted drool spots on my clothes so often. LOL Kinda looks like I blew my nose on my clothes, or worse. Yummy! HAHA
I personally don't care in my bumming around clothes, but I prefer to not get it on my good clothes, the ones I hit the town in or go to work in. |

It used to embarrrass me but now it's just one of those things that Riv does - after dinner every night he has what we call "special time" with his Dorothy the Dinosaur toy - ie he humps it like crazy
Of course he'd still do it if we have people over but doesn't worry me anymore. |

LOL Sentry, we call it lipstick too
![]() Hanky embarrasses us all the time.He likes to wipe his butt on the carpet when visiting other peoples houses, I don't think it's gross but everyone else does this - get your dog off the carpet! The kids think it's the funniest thing ever. I'd love to train him to do it on cue, so maybe we can get away with it soon as a "stupid pet trick"...naughty me ![]() He also asks to play sometimes by backing up on your foot, most people are grossed out cause his butt is up on their foot or leg that they think he's going to poop on them. Poor guy is just misuderstood... |

I was recently at a really interesting canine behavior seminar given by Sue Sternberg. She mentioned this behavior as a from of scent marking- he's leaving tiny amounts of anal secretions on your foot as way to indicate possession!

Kaytee has been known to destroy thong panties. And no, not the clean one's. She is also a conniseur of squirrel, rabbit and cat poop. Another interesting thing she's done is to chew a hole in my stepson's mattress right where his butt rests (GAG!)
She didn't let the sheet stop her and she still will slither into his bedroom if she is unsupervised and the door is left open. Peety also digs on the rodent kaa-kaa and he's also a panty-sniffer/chewer. He also has this strange habit of rubbing his body on dirty dish towels/bath towels that are in dirty laundry pile. ![]() shrug.. -Shmee |

Oh my gosh... Where should I start..
![]() It seems Harley's favourite way to greet people is to jump up and sniff their crotch or bum. It is SO embarrassing! We actually had a door-sales lady come to our house once, and she was wearing a skirt and Harley went right up there with his nose! He's a very embarrassing dog!!He also gets is lipstick out, I like to subtly call it "being excited". It's not nice when I'm actually holding him!! ![]() Abby is an angel compared to Harley. I think in the future I'll have only female dogs! She tends to fart when she's made herself comfortable on someone's lap. She also makes these weird noises that sound like they could be coming from a pig. I've had people on the street stare at me like I've made the noises myself!! That's embarrassing. |

When we go to the dog park, Cartman feels the need (Though he never does this at home!) to hump Harry. And he ignores me if I tell him to stop from afar.....I get strange looks, I think people might think I am breeding my male dogs! lol.
lol Sentry!! That never happens to me, but when I was at the vet a couple weeks ago getting blood work done on Peanut, a family had their lab in there and he had his out the entire time..lol, the family looked embarrassed! And of course, I get embarrassed when my dogs decide to act out..and jump on people when they have food (Which they never do with me, or at home...but they have been known to "Forget" when we are at other people's homes), AND the biggest one!! When I have someone over (Like the woman in charge of foster parents in my area for the cat rescue I foster for, or new people in general) and my dogs in the other room start a "howl fest" where they ALL howl and cause quite the ruckus...then I have to leave my guests and go quiet them. Bjorn is an underwear chewer as well. If I accidentally leave a bathroom door open, or the laundry room open he will find USED underwear and chew the butt/crotch of them..and he has been known to chew the crotch off of our pajama bottoms and a pair of my jeans!!! And its embarrassing when I clean up all the dog poop in the backyard so that I can have friend's back there, and one of the dogs decide they really have to go, and one of my friend's steps on it..lol. That happened last week when we had a party in the backyard. I did an amazing job cleaning up the poop! And I had the backyard all pretty and tables set up on the grass...and one of the dogs (Don't know who) decided the best place to go was UNDER one of the tables..and my friend (wearing nice high heels) stepped in it! I was very embarrassed. I am sure I will think of more later! |
