Wow have I been gone..lol

Well things are starting to slow down with me for a bit and so I decided to stop in and look at good ol'Global Paw. (I missed you guys horribly)
Things have been so busy here and I had a scare with Zeus that almost caused me to have a nervous breakdown. Poor fella went suddenly lame in his back hind legs one evening. Just out of the blue could not and would not use his legs, withno injury or trauma the VETS kept him in the emergency clinic for 2 nights running tests. They explained to me they thought he may have 2 certain bone diseases one being Panosteitis and the other being Osteochondritis dissecans.
They ruled out cancer thank god but still my mind was not at ease. After 2 days and nights of worry they call us to come up there to get results and pick him up. Turns out he has a slipped disc in his back and is now on Steroids and another med for a while. We have to monitor him for sudden lameness though as the disk may slip more and may require surgary. Boy did I ever learn about 2 diseases I never even knew existed though. I think I read and studied so much about them I could diagnose them now..lol..
Anyway the poor fella "just" got over a serious bladder infection not to long ago as well so he has kept me busy and given my VET some extra income recently..lol

Both of you deserve a break from everything. You just kick back with a glass of wine (if you drink wine that is) and him with some good pain meds.

I sure hope that will be the last of that poor baby's problems.

Yeah, Zeus is getting better, I call him my sickly one..for some reason stuff just happens to the poor guy...I dunno
