Talking backtalking dog

I think my dog is backtalking me. LOL she tried to snatch a hotog off the table today and I told her no and she looked right at me and kept opening and closing her mouth but no noise was comming out. It looked like she was trying to talk to me. it was so freaking cute.

Lucy backtalks to me too. If I have a favorite treat for her and I ask her to lay down she grumbles and moans. I have to ask her to stay down because she pops back up in anticipation for the treat. The more I ask her to stay down the louder the moaning and grimbling gets. It has the whole class laughing.

Chico does that when he asks for a treat for doing nothing when he comes in. He moves his jaws like he's talking. It's adorable.

Bella talks back to me too! Sometimes when I tell her NO she runs right over to me sits and starts whine/growling like she is trying to argue her case.

LOL, I think it is absolutely hilarious when they start back-talking. In your case, it sounds like she was more mocking you. Hehe, such smart and goofy dogs.
