I let Shredder out last night and she some how caught a little baby bird learning to fly...She unfortunatly killed it, almost ripped its little head off....but then the parent birds came to get revenge and started dive boming her and pecking her head....that was a bad night

When we went camping last month a little rodent decided to make a nest in the engine of our motor home. We tried everything to get him out but the little bugger was sneaky and stayed put. He was so cute and we named him "Butters". Bailey wouldn't leave him alone and we wanted to get rid of him before she got him. On the third day we were desperate to evict the little vagrant so he didn't chew the wires in the engine. I put on some big leather cloves and grabbed him. Of course being a girl, the second I grabbed him, he squeaked and I freaked and I threw him. Bailey got him in a flash and hurt him. My husband had to put him out of his misery. I cried because it was my fault Bailey killed little Butters. We had to give him a "Supranos" funeral in the lake so Bailey couldn't dig him up...I worried he had a disease.

I thought the parent birdies had the right to peck her for killing their baby, Id be pissed too, but like any good "mother" I brought Shred back in the house so she didnt get hurt. |
