Bush, Kerry, or the other?
Well...it's almost time for another round of presidential elections in the USA...who do you favor?
And, for our canadian population here in the forum...what are your views from your perspective? |

A couple emails I got. If you're not sure....read on.
Subject: Self Explanatory > HEINZ Made in Mexico.. Shortly after reading the following e-mail content, I happened to look at the label of a jar of Heinz sandwich slice pickles. > Yep.... Made in Mexico" Check some of your Heinz products. "Sen. John Kerry keeps talking about U.S. corporations leaving this country and setting up shop in foreign countries, taking thousands of jobs with them. He is right, because that has happened. However, he is trying to blame it on George W. Bush. As far as I know, Bush has not moved one factory out of this country because he is not the owner of a single factory. That cannot be said about Kerry and his wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Kerry's own 32 factories in Europe and 18 in Asia and the Pacific. In addition, their company, the Heinz Company, leases (4) factories in Europe and (4)in Asia. > Also, they own (27) factories in North America, some of which are in Mexico and the Caribbean. (80%) of Heinz products are made overseas. I wonder how many hundreds of American workers lost their jobs when these plants relocated in foreign countries. I also wonder if the workers in Mexico and Asia are paid the same wages and benefits as workers in the United States. Of course they're not. However, Kerry demands that other companies that relocate should pay the same benefits they did in the U.S. Why does he not demand this of the Heinz Company, since he is married to the owner? If Kerry is elected, will he and his wife close all those foreign factories and bring all those jobs back to America? Of course they won't. Well now Carrie...Kerry didn't order Heinz to be made elsewhere...it's just his wife's business. And, how many jobs are being lost to outsourcing right now under Bush? It isn't like he can do much about it.
I supported the war in Iraq...but i don't feel it's being handled well now. |

I have not decided who I will vote for....
As for the war In Iraq...Something did need to be done im not so sure the way it all happend was the best...but then again majoring in Soc has taught me to try and prevent things rather then fix them once they are messed up... |

I lost my job due to the former presidents decisions.. The free trade agreement sux..
 I'm sorry but thats just how I feel about hi.... And I don't know how many plants in my are that have moved to Mexico due to Clintons tatics.. Let me see...8 plants I do believe.. And all of this before Bush took office.. And let me see how many have we gained since Bush took office..4 I believe.. That means alot to me... Even though I'm not into the industry field anymore it means alot.. And I can't count the restraunts we have had to come here in the last 3 years... |

hehe, I am the EXACT same way...my radio line up is like this:
local news, rush limbaugh, sean hannity, local talk radio, michael savage, bill o'reilly, and then the best radio show ever, coast to coast am All that takes me from 6:00 am through 3:00 am...so now you know what i'm listening to while working on the site.  |

Hey, ever listened to Glen Beck? He’s funny…. I don’t listen to him that much anymore but he was funny when I did ( I get up a little before he comes one and don’t go back into my room except to make my bed, let the birds out, and clean it up. )
