Angry How do you train a fiance?

Kino got neutered yesterday..ok..
everything went fine, but hes in a bit of pain...

So Kino's daddy took the morning off to stay with him, he had to go to work at 11, I didnt get out till 1...
Before I left I specifically asked him to seperate the dogs so that Kino doesnt get to excited and hurt himself.

Well I get home a little after 1 to find all three dogs in the living room playing , Kino whining, but still trying to play.

When I talked to Kino's Daddy he said he was sleeping when he left and didnt want to wak him up, or have him wake up later and be upset they are seperated...
Yea Kino incision is slightly red and has been bleeding a little bit today. It still looks like all the stiches are there and its not that bad but this could have easily been prevented by LOCKING THEM SEPERATE.

Well my vet (and I agree) said to keep them seperated for a few days and not allow any ruff playing or running for something like 7 days....FOR THIS VERY REASON!!

It has since stopped bleeding and now that mommys keeping everyone calm the swelling has gone down.

I've had my fair share of relationships. Alright, MORE than my fair share LOL - and have had a few 'issues' with pets and them over the years. One reason I am single I guess. Better for my sanity LOL!

yea I doubt I could have ever kept him calm for 7 days...running yes..but playing no...
I just wish he could have had today, since he just had the surgery yesterday.

I asked him specifically to cuz I had a feeling if they were all allowed together that is exactly what would happen, and it did.

I have not come accross a man training board yet, but I would love to...

Poor little Kino!

Yeah, if you can keep them separated and keep Kino calm (Minimal walking, NO running/playing) the incision will heal much quicker and he can get back to his normal self!
