I read all the time. Currently I'm into J.D. Robb (who is Nora Roberts) I'm on her newest, a murder mystery featuring Eve Dallas a lieutenant in the futuristic New York Police department. A good read if you like mysteries... but start at the beginning (this is number 21 in an on going series) Just keep in mind these are adult books.

DNA research off the internet. Mostly stuff about the canids, 'cuz dogs are so interesting.

An older dog book called "The Body Language and Emotion of Dogs", by Myrna M. Milani, DVM.

The local tide guide, so I can play on the beach!

I recently finished the latest Harry Potter book (I have a rather large soft spot for those books. I also recently finished "The Taking" by Dean Koontz.. I am now on "Frankenstein, Book II ~ City of Night", also by Dean Koontz. I also love Iris Johansen.. I've read all her books. I'm going to give "The Return" by Bentley Little a try, after I've finished the Koontz book.

Mort is great, isn't it? I LOVE Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, he's my favourite author and I've read his books over and over and over again. LOL

While I'm waiting impatiently for the new Discworld book (Thud!) to arrive, I'm reading 'The Woven Path' by Robin Jarvis. A great author who's books are extremely difficult for me to find unfortunately. *sigh* Also reading the Discworld short story 'The sea and little fishes'.

A Dog Year: Twelve Months, Four Dogs, and Me. By: Jon Katz

This book was a good one, I am always interested in finding great animal storys that are actually real! It might be a little childish, but It says Adult/High School readers. I read this book in 8th grade! Loved it, I recommend it.

I love reading, but up until a few days ago I was so busy with company and running around that even finding time to brush my dogs became difficult. However, I've just started reading a book called The Gift of Jazzy by Cindy Adams. (New York Times Bestseller) She was married to Joe Adams, had no childern or pets all those years. Then as soon as her husband passed away, she was given a little Yorkie named Jazzy. It's very moving and funny book so far. She has also started opening up pet shops all over the country in Jazzy's name. She lives on Park Avenue.

I just finished Oryx and Crake by Margaret Thatcher (I LOVE Margaret Thatcher, especially The Handmaid's Tale. Now I'm at a loss as to what to read next? Any suggestions from you all? Has anyone here read The Fig Eater? I saw a synopsis and thought it looked interesting, but I'd love to have imput from some other readers.

Its a little dry so far but I'm tryna stick wit it.

I just finished The Tiger Claw Shauna Singh Baldwin AMAZING BOOK. I was completely blown away mostly b/c there were a lot of parallels b/w this story based in the second world war and the current political sittuation in the united states and the middle east.
