Yay!!!

Well, I just got a reply from Gena about Lilly. At first I didn't understand what she was saying.. I thought she had decided to give Lilly to Ashley (her trainer friend) and that she was going to find her a home and not give her back to us. But I read towards the end and I saw she would be happy to make arrangements with us. She said she made the decision to bring Lilly to Ashley because she had not heard from me (it was only one day). But she's under a lot of stress...

WELLLLLLL... the exciting part is that we may be picking her up tomorrow!!!!!! Tomorrow is my mom's only day off and I'm sure Ash can make arrangements to meet somewhere. OMG I'M JUST REALLY EXCITED! LOL

I have butterflies in my tummy and am so jittery I can't sleep. I just had to share!!!

I'm sorry.. lol.. I feel like a ding dong now! I will post and let you know whether tomorrow was the big day or not!

Not yet! But she will be here soon! We are waiting for Ashley's phone call to tell us when we should come out. Gena was leaving for Avon at 9 AM. She's about 5 hours away from there so that would put her in around 2 PM. It only takes us about 2 hours to get out there. But I'm sooo excited. I took the day off of school to go with my mom!

Weeellll...

Sheeee's here! I am very tired as today was a long day. The trainer Ashley was very determined to keep Lilly and not give her back to us. She was very set on "working with her and placing her in the proper home". Excuse me? So, we were even more determined to come and get her. But we got her.. and she kinda cowered when she approached us, and didn't seem very happy while Ashley was there. But once Ashley left for an appointment she had.. Lilly turned right around and became the moosh she always was. We stopped at a gas station and she wouldn't drink water because she was so paranoid we were going to leave her. So I had to get out of the car in order for her to drink. She slept most of the way home, and got a nice cheeseburger for her last fattening bad treat.

Down side we weren't happy with was she is quite heavy. Obviously wasn't taken to exercise at all. She smelled so bad... obviously no bath for quite some time (I wouldn't be surprised if she had gone since the time we dropped her off). And her toe nails are a bit too long. But that can all be easily taken care of. She's getting a bath tomorrow and her nails trimmed.. Gives me the perfect opportunity for the Picture contest

And she's going to be exercised!

We are actually really impressed how things are going. Lilly isn't quite as pushy with wanting attention. Since we've been letting them work things out themselves (Lilly and Denali)... Lilly is a bit more respectful. When they first met... Lilly was a bit tense with Nali. Nali just wanted to play and Lilly wasn't sure what to do. But now they are doing fine. It's going to take time getting used to letting them "tell each other off" cause of Lilly's inscesent barking at Nali! LOL But we've noticed a big difference in allowing them to do so.

I might have a few questions tomorrow.. as I'm too tired right now to type them. LOL But I knew you were all wanting to see how things went. And so far, so good!

One thing is that we had bought Lilly a nice jeweled collar when we dropped her off to Gina 2 months ago. Cost us $100. Well... we didn't get that back and I think Ashley or Gina kept it. Oh well.. we're going to save up and by her another one!

She's now 13 months old... and still Miss Lilly Porky Wiggles.

Will write more tomorrow! And I'm going to get pictures as soon as I can.

Dead tired... good night everyone!

Glad to hear you got her back!

She doesn't sound like she's been very well cared for that's such a shame, but at least she's back with people who adore her.
