School's started...

By By summer...hello school.
I go to a private Christian school (First Assembly Christian Acadamy. aka FACA) and today was our first day. I totally screwed up and forgot my schedual, so I didn't know what classes I had to do! Eek!
I had P.E. first, and then accounting, but I couldn't remember what after that. (We only had a half day today, and we basically went over all of the rules, and got ourselves situated.)
But luckly, I was able to ask the Principal (Mr. Johns) what classes I had, and he remembered. And I couldn't just look at another Freshman's schedual, because I'm skipping around and doing different classes. I'm taking some freshman classes, but I'm also taking classes with the Juniors. (Geometry, Accounting, and I was supposed to take Pysics, but I had to do History instead.)
Then tomorrow and Friday, Junior high through Highschool is going to go on a retreat. And from the sounds of things, it should be fun.

So, anybody else having a "fun" time at school, or are you celebrating because your kids are finally gone? lol

I dont start back into college till the first week of September. My school starts late...

School doesn't start for me until September 7th. I only have to take four classes (Spanish, accounting, World Lit, and Civics) because I took so many last year, I also had all of my teachers last year (I don’t know who I have for accounting) and I loved them. This is my Sr. year of high school

Right now I’m keeping busy working part time as a cashier and I just got another part time job as cashier. (I love it). When I'm not working, I'm spending time with the shelties, hanging out at the pool, or spending time with my friends/family. I want to take some collage classes also, but I don't know if I'll have time.

Doesn't it seem like the summer just flew by?

I go back for my sophmore year next Tuesday, and I cannot wait! One of my best friends moved to Montana just before school got out, and now he has moved back, and we have a coupld classes together!

Ah.. don't mention that word.. "school" *shudders* lol.. this is my schedule for the year (yup.. whole ten months)

Math 20 IB (Everyone must)
Social AP 20
English AP 20
Biology AP 20
Chemistry IB 20
Physical Education 20
Spanish 20 IB

And I took PHysics 20 this summer so... a spare whoot!

Oh the horrors. It starts ont he 6th. *gack*

And on that. I am thinking about taking 2 photography courses at a local college. but those together will only equal 8 to 9 weeks.

I have my first class this Monday... whoop-dee-doo!

My schedule and other stuff was sent to my parents' house, and my mom just called today to say they had it and could send it. Not only that, but my dad thought it would be something good for them to keep.

I can only imagine them calling after my first class and asking how it went. Then going on to say they have my schedule and everything the college sent me.

Gotta love the parents! School technically starts for me on Monday. I just got back from the retreat and I can't wait till tomorrow. (I can sleep in!!!! YEY! lol)

Oh I don't envy you people! I graduated with my bachelor's in Dec 2001 and I was BURNED OUT!!! 8 group projects and 5 individual ones my final semester! *whew* Still can't believe its done! But, now this is the masochistic side of me, I am toying with the idea of getting my masters...starting next fall. Anyone have any pointers for the GSAT???

*sigh* The only thing worse than having to go back to school in the fall is your first few years after graduation, when you still get that "summer's coming!" feeling but then have to slog right through summer, LOL.

Are you talking about the GMAT or the GRE? I think the GSAT is something that is giving in middle school. There are some pretty good online preparation sites. You can find out info about the GRE (including prep stuff) here GRE website. Info etc. about the GMAT can be found here MBA website

Yea for the $250 it is going to cost to take the stupid test...I will definitely be going to some prep class. Just wondered if anyone has actually taken it in the last couple of years and could let me know what it is like...

I'm so glad I'm done with high school...by best semester was my first in my senior year, and my worst semester was the second.

Anyone who is in high school taking any AP History classes? I managed to get a 4 on both the US and Euro test...so I have some college credit waiting.
