A-w-w-w-w...that sounds terrible Quincy. Do you know how to fix an ingrown nail? I'll tell you, as I was in the medical field and learned this little trick. It is kind of hard to do, but once you get it started, it will work wonders. What you do is take a tooth pick and a very small bit of cotton off of a cotton ball. Then you start pushing the cotton under the nail just in the corner. You push and shove as much as you can get in there, but little by little. Don't leave any sticking out or it will pull out and you'll lose it and have to start over again. It will raise up your nail just enough, so that when it grows, it will grow out, not into your skin. Every time you get it wet or it falls out, you need to re-do it. Wash it first with some soap and water and put a wee bit of Neosporin around the area.

I have been banged up so many times because of the dogs. I'm always being bashed and banged. My lab loves to make a game of barreling into me. More than once I have been the victim of a run-by scratching when the dogs are on the fly. I have had my glasses shoved into my eyes when I get a doggie headbutt. It's endless.

We were the same way when we had big dogs. They were so clumsy and always knocking into us. My huge black and tan coon hound and German short hair would get to wrestleing in the house and knock furniture over! The coon hound could look me square in the eyes when she stood on her hind legs. She loved to dance and I would waltz her around the kitchen. I loved those dogs! Now I have my tiny little hot dog and she just isn't big enough to do any damage. My husband will still get down on the floor and wrestle with her. She stands on his chest like she is playing king of the mountain!

The worst injury I ever recieved was when I was walking both the big dogs down a gravel road. My hand was wrapped around the leashes and they saw a rabbit. They set chase and dragged me quite a ways before I could get my hand free. Legs, arms, tummy and chin got road rash...I was in pain for over two weeks!
