Oh...I'm about to give Quincy away after what he just did.

Well, I'd never think of giving Quincy away...but I've never been in so much pain...

For the past 3 months, I've been nursing an ingrown toenail back to health...

Well, it's gotten so bad that when I get home in the evenings and take my shoe off, the sock where my big toe is is soaked in blood.

Well...Quincy heard something from the window, bolted past me, and when he did, his back paw caught the egde of my toenail...and pushed.

I tried not to scream in pain...as its almost midnight...but he actually tore a part of the side skin off...but he's just wagging his tail...

The little joys of dog ownership...

Angry

OMG!!!! I'M SO SORRY!!!! I'm sure your doggy is too.He didn't mean to! My dog hurt me a few days ago & now she feels horrible.

See I have a dislocated ankle.I was just able to get my brace off...I was so excited I couldn't sit down.I WAS PAIN FREE & LOVIN IT!!!! I was walking all over the place(very unusual for me.I'm always in pain).

What does my dog do? She starts running around the living room, while I'm walking through & she runs right into me & I fall & TWIST my DISLOCATED ankle! I cry out in pain & then my dog felt so bad because she hurt me again. So know I'm back in a brace!

oh, I know Quincy is sorry.

Dogs seem to have a habit of hurting feet, it seems.

I know!!!!!!!!!!!When I first dislocated my ankle.Who's fault was it? MINE!!
Really though.I was trying to teach my dog how to jump over hurdles. I slipped while we were running & I accidentally dislocated it. IT HURT SO BAD!

Well my medicine is FINALLY kicking in so I'll probably get off in a little bit.

Ouch! I bet that hurts. You have had this bad toe for 3 months? Are you planning on going to the doctor anytime soon? You aren't a weenie about doctors are you? (LOL) My husband won't go unless he is about to die.

I had a black and tan coon hound that gave me a big black eye once. We were wrestling on the living room floor and she knocked me on the corner of my eye with the little sharp bone on the top of her head. That was embarrassing telling people my dog gave me a shiner.

I have a fat lip right now from Princess. Yesterday I bent down to pick something up off the floor. At the same time she jumped up, hitting her hard head on my lip, putting my front teeth right through the lip. Poor Princess felt so bad she sat in my lap for like an hour, while I had ice on my lip. Can't wait to explain this to the guys I work with today

It's amazing how they know when we are hurting.

doctors? we don't need no stinking doctors.

I'll go to a doctor's when I'm bleeding out my eyeballs and I cough up a lung...doctors you say.

my boyfriend had two very bad ingrown toe nails.. he went to the foot doctor and they pulled most of it out for $50... but within a week they were hurting and bleeding through his socks again... well he went and had them basically surgically removed (not the toes or the whole nail.. just the extra ingrown part) anyway ... its going to cost like $400... but they dont hurt any more... just still bleed a little bit because there are gaping holes now... but... if it gets really bad you should have it taken care of.. because my boyfriend ... omg you couldnt even LOOK at his toes without him screaming in pain thats how sore they were.. good luck with them!

Ouch, that had to have hurt.. I had an ingrown toenail once, and Buster stood all of his 85 pounds on that toe when he jumped up to see me..

PS -- You guys are lucky to have sympathetic dogs. Mine couldn't care less if I was screaming in pain.
