Update/stories
Sorry this is going to be a little long.
Vacation was great, still working on those pictures long story, but I should have them up soon. Not sure if anyone here reads Cosmo or not (Jill does and sh showed me an article on the plane). In this months issue there is a thing about pets being the new fashion accessory, and it listed the best little dogs (yorkie, poodle, a couple other small dogs). Although the advice they gave on the dogs was a little incomplete, not too bad for something liuke cosmo though, they completely failed to give any insight into what to look for when getting one of these dogs. There was NO mention of shelters or anything like that. I think they even used the term "teacup". Needless to say but I was a little upset. Went to the zoo lots of fun, would love to have a dog that looked like an African Wild dog (soooo pretty). Back at school and it looks like Jackson has lost some of the weight we wanted him to had to actually punch a new hole in his collar cause it was too loose. Otherwise he is good and hardly leaves my side.We have had a couple shindigs, and being the little socialite he is Jackson is always out working the crowd and helping w/ security detail. It is amazing how at home he is and we never have any problems. Brought Shelby out for the first party (kept her on her leash and by my side) but she was good. Not quite the party goer Jackson is, but still not bad considering when I got her she would have been terrified to be in that sitaution w/ so many strange people in "her" house. I was working a door to make sure no one did anything stupid, and these two guys come out and start talking to me. I felt like they were just patrionizing me and playing me for a fool so needless to say I stopped talking to them. Then Jackson comes up and they ask what he is and I say pittie mix. One of the guy informs me there is no way that is a pit bull (he has never played tug of war with him obviously). And asks me if I knew that the singer Outkast breed pitties. THis is when my blood pressure about double and the guy is lucky Jill was there to shut me up and told them to leave for me. Before doing that he told me that his parents breed pitties back in Chicago and I almost nearly exploded. Although they could have been good breeders nothing I got from this guy would have indicated that. At this popint Jill made them leave and calmed me down. Just an update. I should be back on more in a couple days when things settle down ![]() |
