Strangest mix breed you have seen??

Shelby, and Jackson once there is a change in his attitude (been grumpy lately and I don't want to risk it at the park right now), will be attending the local dog park a few times a week, and love it. It is a great group, and you will never see so many strange mix breeds as there are there.

Any ways... There was the coolest Lab/Doxie mix (or Labin) there. It has the body, look, and personality of a black lab, but legs around 8 inches tall and a body about twice the length as normal for a doxie. The face/head is all doxie though, and even a little small for the body. The pup was appropriately named Bilbo because its feet were huge. Just wanted to share because this is one mix I thought I would never see

Just wondering what was the strangest mix you have ever seen?

Strangest I've actually seen was a Bulldog x Rottweiler. He had the head, body and markings of a Rottie and the legs and tail of a Bulldog....he was fittingly named Chopper.

We have a dog at work, about 16" at the shoulder, long light blonde hair and black eyes. A foxy puppy face (at 13 years old!) and a long, swishy tail.

And his mother was a black Lab! I've been wracking my brain for a year trying to figure out what on earth his father could have been, LOL.

We saw a crazy Great Dane mix at the dog park a few months ago. Mixed with maybe some kind of sight hound? Very elegant face.

2 very strange mixes that stick in my head are a sharpei hybrid that was dropped off at a shelter I worked at and a litter of newfoundland x bassets that had to unfortunately be put to sleep because their back legs were longer than the front legs making it difficult for them to walk.

The funniest mix i ever saw was a great dane, Basset mix. It had the head and huge body of a great dane but the ears and legs were from the basset. This dogs back only came to mid thigh on me and I am only 5'2". I saw a black lab and Dachshund mix in one of Lucy's classes. It looked excatly like you described Mulroony. He was such a nice dog and soo friendly. I also say a lab, grey hound mix. It mostly looked lab but was so skinny that my DH wanted to call the SPCA. We quickly learned of the grey hound in him and felt bad for talking about the owners like that. LOL. The owner was so used to people whispering about her dog that she just walked up and told us when she saw our faces. * grins sheepishly*

My dog is a mutt and she is mixed with Corgi and something else. She has a black muzzle and almost a mane like you see on the neck of a german shepard. I don't know what she is but she is long and has short little legs with about 3 coats of fur!! We got her from a golf course where she was left stranded.

I've seen two strange mixes.

One was a pitbull/basset hound mix. CUTEST EVER! He was at a shelter.. he looked mostly like a pit.. face and head, maybe just a tad bit longer ears, but his body was slightly longer, and the shortest little legs. My mom was going to adopt him as a surprise for me because I was so in love with him, but he had gotten adopted the next day

The other was a ChowChow/Rottweiler/Pomeranian mix. Had the head of a rottie with the black and tan markings. Thick coat like a chow and slightly smooshy face, and the short little legs from the Pomeranian, with that curled busy tail too. He was so adorable... his name was Buck. We had Sheiba at the bridge with us while we were fishing and they looooved each other

When I was younger, we would go to rabies clinics and get all our dogs vaccinated and licensed at the same time. I don't think they have them anymore because of idiotic owners...but anyways...there was always this really old man (mind you I was less than 10 so anyone older than my parents was 'really old') and he had a shar pei x pittie. Ugliest darn thing ever and MEAN!!!

My friend has a black lab/doxie mix! His name is Tank and he's very goofy looking. Love that dog!
Also- My dog gets strange looks all the time. Here's a picture from when I saw him at the shelter.

I saw a GSD/Corgi mix one time...it looked exactly like a GSD, only it has short legs and was just a little bit bigger than a Corgi. Very weird.

o0o I remember one that I saw. It was a Pitbull/husky mix. Cuuuteest dog!

She was short and stocky like a pitbull, but she had slightly longer fur, erect ears, bushy tail and her markings were outlined like a husky would have, but she was different shades of tan and brown. She was adorable...

My boss has a black lab/basset mix. Shes the size of a basset hound, but everything else looks like a lab. Her ears are a little more basset then lab, but shes solid black and soo sweet.

I call her the miniature lab as a joke, but shes so adorable.
