Volunteering at Local Shelter

Yesterday Abbie, Senny, Gabe and I went to a local animal shelter to see about me volunteering. We first went in and looked around at the kittens they had in their front room. There was a woman with her two daughters and after looking at the 10+ kittens there, she goes, "Are these the only kittens they have?"
We got a form to fill out and then went to look at the dogs. The first dog we saw was a beautiful sibe with gorgeous blue eyes. Most of the dogs there seemed nice, but there were two dogs (looked like shepherd/pit) that seemed aggressive towards Gabe and Seneca. There a was a cute brindle pit bull mix who lay there calm while most of the other dogs went nuts.
After looking at the dogs we looked at the cats. They were all very sweet, there was one grey tabby who was a total cuddlebug.

Anyways, I talked to my Mom about it and she got a hold of this acting class director. The classes are for two hours on Thursdays, the director has been in movies with stars. So we're thinking I'll do acting then volunteering then violin.

I'm glad your thinking about volunteering. I couldn't do it. I'd want to take every one home!

I couldnt even consider volunteering as I would end up with five acres of animals and a divorce as well.

This will probably sound terrible but I find it easier to see human suffering than I do any animal.

I suppose its because as humans we do have ability to get help but animals are at mans mercy.
I truly admire any who take on the role of volunteering to care for abandoned animals.

Ps Violin lessons would sure be down my isle I play a few instruments
just to entertain the girls lol

I think I'm going to do it. There's a farm Abbie used to volunteer at that wants me to volunteer too.

I've been playing violin since I was three....I absolutely love it, though sometimes I hate it. The group is on Thursdays this fall rather than Fridays like it was last fall.
