New Signature Rules - Page 2

Yup, tommyjake yours is fine.

Basically what the rule is, is the signature can't contain an image that is larger than 500x200 and/or more than 4 lines of text.

I think this new rule is good. A lot of people have really large signatures and even though I have ADSL the page takes a while to load - it gets annoying.

Well, I made my writing go down to two or three lines or whatever. I went and edited my picture so it is a 266x200, but I swear it looks bigger. PM me if it is a problem.

Ritz, your siggie is still 400 X 300. Where have you been editing the image? Directly on the picture hoster's site or on your image editing program. If on your image editing program, you might want to save it again on Photobucket or what have you.

when I check her size it says 266x200....

You'll have to reload the page to see the new size, Greenleaf.
Your computer has the old image stored in it's cache files so that's the one it shows. Reload and the new smaller image will show up.

I'm bumping this old thread up for any newbies who may not be aware of our signature rules (although everyone should be because the site rules are always available for people to read *points to the top left corner of the page*).

How do you post your siggy? I've got one that I've put in my user photos but couldn't figure out how to get it into my signature.

Go to your "USER CP" in the top left of the bar.

On the left will be a menu that has "Edit Signature" -- Click that.

And tada! Make your siggy and hit "Submit" and you're all done!

Yeah, you can't upload the photos to it.

That's exactly how you do it

Just make sure your photo is within the guidelines!
--To check, right click the image and go to "Properties". It should tell you the pixel dimensions towards the bottom. If you need help resizing you can PM a staff member.
