This weekend... whatcha doin'?

What have you all been up to? Making the most of it? I have. The mornings I spend with the pugs.. we do 1.5-2 mile walks, and afternoons are devoted to my new hobby, biking in the hills. Love it. Healthy hobby, no noise, and you can get about anywhere if you're determined enough LOL Loving this weather up here (No. Nevada).

I was so happy because I had NO homework this weekend. Yey! So my life was basically: walking the dogs, having a cook out, trying to keep my sanity with 20+ male teenagers in the house playing "Halo" because my bro had a Halo party, me playing "Halo", surfing the web, reading, and more walking the dogs.
Oh, and cleaning up a HUGE mess in my room because Casey climbed up my closet shelves and knocked everything off. (I had closed the closet door, but my little sister let Casey in it and left her in it unsupervised....there was stuff everywhere, including Abby's corncob bedding that I use as a liner for her cage. )

Anyway my weekend started with camping at a friend's place, then working on Saturday and Sunday and today I'm going to another friend's place as a last get together before school tomorrow

Sure you can come over! lol Just hop a flight over to Purdue or something and we'll come and pick you up! I'm really bad at Halo, but oh-well. lol I used to not be able to move very well at ALL, and then when somebody would shoot at me, I'd freak out and just spin around in a circle and shot non-stop. But I'm better now. Although I was getting mad at me sis because she was riding a Ghost and kept running me over...and you can't outrun those things, nor shoot them down very easily unless you have a Rocket Launcher!

Today we are having a family cookout. I'm bringing Ribs and hamburger. It will be my family, my mother, Lances' father, and my brother and his family.

I get a 4 day weekend..yippee......

Of course it's over today. I hate mondays. But at least I only have to work 3 days and it's the weekend again.

Cozy and I have in the house recuperating. This weekend was the annual Marfa Lights Festival which is basically a 3 day town "block party". It's the first one I've missed since living here. I thought I was cured yesterday but today I feel like poo and the sore throat is back along with a roaring headache. Cozy is sleeping and healing nicely.
OT but - Q, have you read Bob Dylan's autobiography? I bought a used audio tape of it the last road trip. It was pretty good.

Weve been doing some work on our home because were selling it. Our new home will be finished the end of this month then I'm going to paint all the rooms before we move our things over there. It's an exciting time but nerve wracking at the same time.
