The last holiday of summer is over....

Hi Everyone

We have just passed the last holiday of summer. It always makes me sad to see all of the boats and docks leave the water. It means summer here on the lake is over till next spring. We are now looking toward making the long trek to our Florida home. There are only six weeks left to complete any unfinished projects and get ready to close up the house and say good bye to the lake till spring. Our plan is to leave in the morning on October 18th and we will arrive at our house very late on the 19th. I will be closing down the computer a day or two before we take off in order to pack it up so I can take it with me. I will post a day or two before I shut down. I won't be back on line until some time on the 20th (that is if the bunnies haven't chewed up my phone lines) I always have a hard time this time of the year because I don't like the winters here in North Central Michigan. That's why we go to Florida. I'll still be around for a while but will be quite busy getting things done so I may not post as much as I have in the past.

We just closed up the pool today, very sad.
I love the late spring when we open it, but hate the end of summer when we close it. All my flowers have had it too.
