They are taking in a bunch of the animals from the hurricane, but these animals all have families, they are housing them for them. They need food, collars, towels, etc. to help care for them. My boss just gave me $50 to go get some food, and I am going to buy some too and take it over there today. Wasn’t that nice? I also may see if they have any cheap towels at Wal-mart or something too.

They also are going to eventually get a lot of the strays from there. But that won’t be for a little while. This is all so sad.

Please forward this to anyone you think may be able to help or that may be able to donate to the Nashville Humane Society.

Just spreading the word can help tremendously.

You may be able to find a lot of cheap items (like towels, blankets) at a thrift store! Stretch your dollars a little.

Also ask if the sales person could get permission to let you buy the food at their discount, and the PetSmart and PetCo stores will donate all the items they have in the back of the store if you ask them for dog donations.
