Wink Adopting a Dog for a day-Help me decide

The local humane society and Woodford county humane society are getting together shelter dogs for a pool party. This gives them time away from the shelter and get to have other human interaction for a couple of hours. I'm going to do this with one dog but me and hubby can't decide! Its so hard to choose. We have narrowed it down. Help me out and suggest which one you would choose..If you can pick one.

1st choice
#190 Maggie

2nd choice
#187 Jackson

3rd option #179 Venus

Btw I need to know soon so they can make sure the dog I choose is up to date on shots. I set the poll to end on the 9th. Which is when I will be taking the dog. But I need to know tomorrow.

I'm not sure how anyone else could vote just by looking at the pictures. Even though it's just for the day I'd like to have information on their temperments. Without this, I guess I'd pick the one out of the three that has been at the shelter the longest.

Oh, thanks!

#1- Steps up
#2- Excitable
#3- Unsure, doesn't mention

#1-At first I thought this dog was the shy one, realized the shy one's a sibling, came back & edited my post. I would have picked the shy one since they don't seem to get as much attention from people looking for a dog.

anyways, since I already picked #1 thinking it was a shy dog I'll stand by my vote

I was drawn to number one - the sweetness and earnestness of her expression suckered me in.

#2 may be a bit excitable but what a sweetie. Excited dogs need love too.

That's hubbys fav. My fav is #1. Of course we have to take one we both agree on. He would play more with 2. I'd love more with 1. Maybe 3 would be a good compromose...so who knows....

I'm going to suggest to hubby tomorrow if we can go to the shelter at lunch to see the dogs and any others I might have missed while surfing petfinder so we can be sure that it will be a happy family event for all of us. Of course that would mean we would miss coming home to see our daughter. But once out of a month to miss our daughter isn't so bad.

I like #3...something about that face. But as I'm sure many will agree, any of them will benefit from the outing!!

Thanks for all your help

We went to the shelter today. I of course wanted to take them all home. But we did come to a decision. Before I tell you what one, I'm going to say that the Pyrenees dogs found a home already. Hopefully it will be perminate and happy! I saved the rottie for a friend cuz he wants to take her. I saw Tucker and decided not to take him. The lady there said that I needed to know that he showed a bit of aggression towards other dogs. Therefore, I do not want to take him because if he happened to get into a fight I would be responsible.

we looked at a couple of others. There was a Chocolate lab there. Very friendly guy. Unfortunately like Tucker, he was showing A LOT of aggression toward another dog there. (They were separate but could still see each other).

However in the same cage was Choice #2. Jackson. Even though the others were barking he just stuck his nose out the side of the cage and looked at us wagging his tail. He's a very sweet dog and I have decided to take him..

I did make a mistake though. It's happening Saturday not Friday
