Foster Dog had her pups!
My lhasa foster gal had her pups Wednesday morning. Poor little gal squeezed out 7! No wonder she was big as a Barbie Dream House! We've got 2 girls and 5 boys. My son and I named them as they came out, so we have: Hope, Glory, David and Goliath, Jude, Luke and Isaiah. As only divine intervention would allow for my husband (NOT an animal guy) to agree to me fostering a pregnant dog and helping to raise her pups, my son and I agreed on a "Bible theme" for the names. Glory is the little oddball, and everyone's favorite. My favorite is Isaiah, but David is quickly winning me over because you can already tell this one is all spunk!

Here's a pic of Momma and pups just after the delivery. Don't mind the mess on her bum as we hadn't yet cleaned her up.

I sure hope the mom has enough milk for that crew. Do you know what they are mixed with? What an adorable family. Sounds like your going to be adopting one.

We can't know for sure, but the woman who surrendered the Mamma dog and 2 other small, female dogs (one shih, one yorkie/shih mix) also had 4 intact male shih tzus. We assume them to be lhasa/shih mixes.

Yeppers, that little girl is Glory. She is the only one who isn't dark golden or brown. She makes me wanna sing that Sesame Street song "One of these things doesn't go with others". Here's an upclose and personal with our little guinea pig girl...
