Why turn off right click? It's fun to share pictures. There's this one website where we share our animated gifs. Someone will say, "does anyone have a picture of a ____? And someone will have one and then people can pluck it off the test box and have it in their pictures too. I've collected some cute pictures of dogs and all kinds of things that way. I have one of someone's Doberman knawing on a plastic toy of Sadam Hussein. Ha ha ha. Those big white teeth are really sinking into him....great picture!

Anyhow, maybe I'll wait and see what is the finished product of this picture thing you're finishing up.

Thanks Stacee. I will try that method next time I have some more time. Your puppy is too cute. That toy is bigger than the pup! LOL.

Stacee, I don't see any image "clickables" in your posts to this thread, so I can only guess what your clickable looks like. Is it a hyperlink? A thumbnai? Regarding your attachments from your computer...Are you sure your images uploaded to GlobalPaw? You can check by going to User Control Panel, Miscellaeous, Attachments. A list or your uploaded files will be there. I don't know what the image limitations are here, but usually a site limits jpg or gif image files to around 500 high x 600 wide with a size limitation (in Kb). My images are all optimized which keeps the dimensions large but the size small. None of this has helped, has it?
Kit

OK...this is the only was I am able to post a picture.....just as an attachment...I can't get it to show the picture without making it as an attachment that has to be opened. Also, It makes me makes me make the picture very very small...even as an attachment.

Just wanted to get a picture to show on my post without having to "open" it.

Any ideas??

Stacee

PS: OK, now this was weird, after I viewed it, I notice that the picture is there but very tiny....last time I did this it came up as an attachment.

Stacee, it IS a small picture. It's only like 60 x 80 and 2,000 bytes. But it did upload correctly. You just need to resize your images before you upload.

Hey! The picture was larger to start out with.....It wouldn't allow me to upload it, said it was too large...so I kept going smaller (a little at a time) until it would allow me to load it. This is what I ended up with..A teeny tiny picture.

I have no idea what's going on. It won't let me add any attachments unless I make them very tiny! aaarrrrrrggggg!!!!! This is aggravating!
I've never had this trouble before....I realize that there are requirements that we can only post certain size pictures but I can't see why others have such large pics & it won't except mine.

Dang computers!

I think you need to compress your images. That will reduce the size of the file, but not the dimensions. There is free software out there for that. I use Image Optimizer. www.xat.com

it sounds like we could all use a comprehensive guide on posting pics...it's added on my to-do list.
