argh!!!! well.. i dont know about the rest of the world but in my little corner it seems very much like october!!! we havent had a day above 70 in a good week or two.. today was SUPPOSED to be high of 75... but now they changed it to a high of 65. its been in the low 40s at night... pleople are walking around in sweaters and turtle necks! its really irritating because in wisconsin that means there will be snow in october again!!!! ggggggrrrrrrrr!

Missouri here. We haven't been above 75 most of the week and this is the time of year it typically hits upper 90's or 100's. We've broken record lows almost every night this week. It feels like fall already and we're really freaked by it all!

Been to Wisconsin many times and yikes you get snow up there!!

Hot and dry here in Nevada, as usual. Under a Fire Alert. Always a concern. We are backed up to BLM land. I smelled burning sage last night, don't have a clue where from though. Hum. Say we might get a storm today, which just means dry lightning and wind, and fires. I can't wait for fall. Sigh.

Up here in Idaho it's hot. Yesterday it was about 85, and pretty dry..

Here its been in the Lo 80s but, there calling for rain due to hurricane Charley I'm ready for fall myself.. I dont know how Mia will like it. Its in the hi50s in the mornings and she gets a lil' shiver when I take her out for her morning potty..

Raining here, we have had one hot day this week high 80 - 85 which was great, the rest of the week was either Rainey or like fall, I love summer and hate to see it go.

Cold in Marfa, TX this evening. A cold front brought rain. But we LIKE rain out here.
And speaking of rain, I lived in Miami and went through Hurricane Andrew. Tonight, my thoughts are with those on the west coast of Florida.

It is still warm in Washington. It has been in the 80's all week. I love it and I don't even want to think about winter coming. It never gets too cold and I like it when it snows 1 or 2 times a year but I don't like working in the rain everyday. I work outside 12 hours a day and even with rain gear I am soaked and cold when I drive home. My feet get all cold and prunie. I don't mind it on my days off when I can curl up with my electric blankie and a book.

Its been cool here 60's and 70's yesterday was a beautiful 80 for the last Saturday of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. ( which was great BTW) . Maybe all of us in snow country have a long warm Autumn befre the first snow.

We got a thunderstorm last night, thank goodness it waited till we got home after 12pm...I woke to a couple really loud cracks I like watching them pretty coooooool

Well, that's chilly enough for Nevada... My Grandpa lived in Mesquite, & anytime it was colder than 80 he would sit inside with the HEAT on. Ack, I would almost DIE in his house..

Oh Barrett....how I know what you mean about Washington....western that is....lived there from 1962 until about 3 years ago where I now live....not too far from Rip's girl, north Idaho. It's been around 90 here and is expected to continue. Today is cloudy but still very hot....funny.

I can definitely wait for winter. I love snow, which we get a ton of up here in the mountains, but it is around for so long and summer is short enough as it is, so I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts.

Loving the climate here with less rain than western Wash. but precipitation is mostly in the form of snow. But we got a lot of rain this May. On the other hand, there are plusses to the more mild weather in west. Wash. to be sure. Like it there too.
