Question How do I clean a kong?

i have one of those snowman looking kong and i put the cheeze stuff it and it always goes to the tiny hole where it cant be reached. Marley usually gets it all within a few hours but he managed to get it stuck under the couch where its been lost for weeks. So... i have a dirty kong that my pup misses and it needs to be clean. Any advice?

I usually scrape what I can out with the end of a plastic fork or knife.
Sometimes I run water through it to help.

But to disinfect it I boil it. Boil some water, then throw it in for a little while. The Hot water should kill most of the germs. Ive been told a dishwasher will kill germies too.
But unfortunatly my dishwasher doesnt work properly, it shots a gyser through my sink drain and then dirt backs up into the dishwasher causing my dishes to be dirtier then they started.... the previous owners installed it wrong.

You can also try a bottle brush. But I agree, boiling it is a great idea!

I take an old toothbrush, and scrub it under hot water.

At my work we run them through the washer with hot water. They come out squeaky clean every time!
