^^ Well that's excellent to hear that where you are, the vets care.
I had a run in with a vet like this when I first got my puppy. He had bloody stools and I was quite worried about him, as bloody stools in a puppy are not normally a good thing. I phoned a vet (my first choice) and they wouldn't even go to see him, knowing full well that he wasn't doing quite well.
They told me that I'd get an appointment the next afternoon. Gizmo's diharrea and blood got worse and so I called another vet who came to see him immediatly.
To me, that's the difference between a good vet and a bad one, IMO a good vet would have taken gizmo in that day to see him.
Although of course, I'm not saying that all vets are bad, far from! Just that people should be aware when they choose their vets. Just because a vet has a fancy office or a nice website doesn't mean that they actually are good people who genuinly concern for you pet.
