Sorry I haven't been posting much lately

Hi everyone

I haven't been posting very much lately. I'm trying to prepare my mother's three bedroom ranch house for the real estate market. She is 85 and has been living in my home for the last three years. She will never be able to live alone in her own home again so now comes the hard job of cleaning it out, painting, resurfacing the floors and making it as pretty as it can be so we can sell it. Since September 15th my daughter and I have painted three bedrooms, ceiling walls and closets, the hall way, the bathroom, the living room, the kitchen, the back entry way a 16'x9' breezeway between the garage and the house and the basement walls. We have ripped carpet from the kitchen, bathroom and living room then sanded the hardwood floors to prepare them for finishing and had new vinyl laid in the bathroom kitchen and both front and back entry ways. That leaves the basement floor and the hardwoods that will need to be finished before we can call the realtor. I've been traveling 75 miles each way to work on her house so it can be done by October 18th. (might not make it) As soon as it is listed we will pack up the kitties and Magic and make the long trek to my Florida home to spend the next six months basking in the sunshine (boy do I need it)

Wow! You really have been busy!

This has had to be hard on your entire family. What a wonderful daughter though to do something like this for her mother. I hope everything goes well and your able to sell the house quickly.
