Well feinwerkbau.....your screen name is possibly German. You use "big words" and have a very educated style of writing. Almost proffessor like. I would have to guess Europe. Yeah, I know that is a big area....maybe I can narrow it down later. LOL

So any references to business, products, groups, organisations are generally American.

Cass.
Now are we talking about where people currently live or just their general ethnic background?

Hey, guess where I'm from!!! (Covers up location in the little info bar thingy. ) LOL

I can normallly tell if someone is southern, Australian, or that English isn't their native language, but other than that, I'm hopeless at guessing where people are.

Thanks for mentioning it, I will try and be more aware. It's not polite to exclude others, but I think Americans are developing that mind set. Too bad.
Yeah, I guessed that most people would be able to tell I was Australian..or at least, not American.
I think it's difficult for any of us to hide where we're from originally (country wise, I mean).
It's not a bad thing though.

Sonja...I'm talking about nationality, rather than where we live currently.

Oozing charm from every pore, he oiled his way across the floor, and every trick that he could play, he used to strip her mask away and when at last the dance was done, he glowed as if he knew he'd won....and with a voice too eager and a smile too broad, he announced to the hostess that she is.....a fraud.... NO! Yavole! (sp?)

Her English is too good he said, which clearly indicates that she is foreign, where as others are instructed in their native language, English people are-n't, and although she might have studied with an expert dialectician and grammarian.....I....can....tell...that....she...wa s...born...HUNGARIAN! Not only Hungarian, but of royal blood. She is a princess.

Wow Carrie!

"Feinwerkbau", is an Eskimo, living in Africa. He doesn't really have any dogs at all! He is not allowed to have regular "pets", until can keep his Sea Monkeys alive. He collects "Lost In Space" memorabilia, and attends Star Trek conventions dressed as a Klingon named "P'Tacht". Yeah, we all know what THAT means!

Sooo, did I nail it!?

PS And for all you Monty Python freaks out there..."His mother was a hamster, and his father smelt of elderberries!".
