I'm ticked at Showdog.com right now...(RANT)

Apperentally I've been banned for selling dogs between two basic accounts to transfer money from one account to the next.

I've never done that! In fact, the only other person I've actually bought from was Sourmug Kennels. UGH!! I'd buy an older dog from her for 100$, CH it, then sell it back for 100$. Then I'd buy another one, and so on. And she is most definitally not a basic account.
Once upon a time I had another account, but I gave it up, sold all my dogs, and I can't even remember the username, nor the password. That has been inactive for probably almost a year now. When I felt like starting again, I started a new one under my new email adress, since my old email address is non existint now.

And one of my dogs had just got CH, and the other had five points and I was looking forward to CH him too...I'm so mad. x10=me. And I can't ask them if they made a mistake because I'm totally banned! UGH!!!!!!! I'm just so ticked off...Ok, rant over.

I just looked at the rules again and this is what it said:

Do not sell a dog to one account for a high price and then buy it back for a low price. If you sell a dog to another user, it needs to be because you want to sell the dog to that user and nothing else.

If you are caught selling dogs back and forth in an attempt to move money into one account you will be banned regardless of your account's status or history. The accounts will be immediately shut down, no questions asked. NO WARNINGS WILL BE SENT, THIS is the only warning. This is NOT up for interpretation, DO NOT sell dogs back and forth to get more money in your main account.

If you wish to use a dog as a stud, do so via the stud dog option. Do not sell a dog to somebody for a certain price and then buy it back after they have used it to breed one of their dogs.

If you are a basic user, do not sell a bitch to a premium user so they can breed it and sell it back to you. Getting around the basic account restrictions in this manner is a good way to get an account banned.

Extreme Example: User A Sells Dog A for $100 to User B. The same day User B sells Dog A back to User A for $2,000.

How in the heck did I get banned for doing that? I didn't do that! I would buy a dog from Sourmugs for 100$, and then she'd buy it back after I'd CH it for 100$. How is that moving money between two accounts if 1.) I only have one account and 2.) it is for the same amount of money? We were just buying and selling to each other because I need dogs! Not because I wanted money! Ugh.

I don't know what is worse. Being banned for something I didn't do, or not being able to tell them that I didn't do anything or at least that I wasn't doing what they thought I was doing. This just ticks me off. Bleah.

I'm on that game too and I've not done that. I will sell a dog to another player for $100 then if they CH it and sell it back to me (after they get a few breedings out of the dog) I pay them $200. I hope that doesn't get them in trouble because I pay them the extra $100 to help them recoup their showing and feeding costs but any litters they get from that dog are theirs to keep or sell. I wonder if what I do is wrong in that game - I always thought it was okay. Hmmm.

Actually, if your going to sell a dog for someone else to finish your supposed to buy it back for the same price otherwise they consider it pumping up a basics account.

Its a virtual dog breeding / show and ob site called showdog . com. Several of us play on the site.

I am on SD, but I am mainly there for the Real Show Dogs forum. I have three dogs that I train whenever I feel like it in obedience..but yea, I am most definitely there for the forum..

Very strange. I try to just keep all my accounts completely seperate. I don't want them to have any connection with each other, just in case they ever try to blame me for something like that. The whole selling dogs for $200 between accounts never made any sense to me.... One's getting poor, and the other is getting rich, but, oh well.

Well, I tried again and still no dice. What really has be bugged is that it said I was doing it between two basic accounts. The only selling/buying transaction that I was doing was with you.

Well see, I'm on (or was on...) a basic account, so I didn't want to breed and I couldn't really do anything. lol I could really only show dogs, and since I was into the Neo's, Sonja and I were selling back and forth. I'd finnish a dog for her, and I sell it back. It worked out for both of us because it kept me busy in the game, and it gave her CH dogs. lol
And I also find it funny that they banned me now, since we have been selling back and forth to one another for quite some time. (Well...kinda. Probably what...3 or 4 dogs?)


*sigh* Time to give up and move on I guess. I'm going to try and get a new account, but I doubt I can. I'm still mad about it though.

Well that bites - I don't do this with basics, just other premium subscribers. I've done this for the past year and has sold/bought back many, many dogs this way with never a problem. I assumed if admin had an issue with it they would have sent me a note to refrain from doing it. I always saw it as a win-win situation. I get CH dogs and they get to use a high quality dog for their breeding program. I'm in Keeshonden over there and just "leased" my 94.5% boy to another longtime member for her to use at stud and show for me.
