Thanks for the memories, Carrie! I can't believe you put the "Lyric loves Tia" pic in there! LOL!!! I wish the picture of Lyric with his nose on the railing was lighter!
You guys are such fun...and welcome anytime! I love the pic of the two "monkey women"! Hey Barrett, are you still playing with clay? |

Darn! Most of them turned out so dark, you can hardly make them out. Next time we have to remind Barrett to bring her card for her digital. But anyhow, the memories are so good. Thanks for having us over. |

That was sooo fun! I can't wait to go again. We will have to have another meet up in February when Flyin Dog comes. I stopped playing with the caly for a while. I have been working way too much lately. By the time my next day off comes I will have worked 21 days straight! YUCK!!!
Carrie, if you want you can e-mail me the pics and I can lighten them up and repost them. I have a really neat software that does a great job of fixing photos. PM me if you want and I'll give you my e-mail address. |

Thanks guys!
Fireworks, that's what it looks like around the Columbia River gorge. Eastern Washington is desert. As soon as you go over the Cascade mountains, you're in western Washington, where Seattle is and Puget Sound, an arm of the Pacific ocean. Western Washington is lush, evergreens, hilly and lots of rain. (actually, not so much rainfall in inches, just a lot of drizzle) And mild temperatures. It's like two different states. Unfortunately, west of the Cascades doesn't have very much room. There are the Cascades on one side, the Olympic mountains and Puget Sound on the other side and rather a narrow corridor between and that's where everyone wants to live so it's getting mighty crowded. Eastern Washington is where much of the country's hydroelectric power comes from, (the Columbia River) and where all the good apples come from, along with a great deal of other agriculture. That beach on Whidbey Island, where RBW lives is on Puget Sound. And it's very beautiful. I grew up in the area over there and have only lived in Idaho for going on 5 years. Where I live now, in this part of Idaho, isn't that much different looking than western Washington, but a little more severe climate. Anyhow, back on track....we definitely had a good time and I can't wait either Barrett to meet Kit and do it all over again. The dogs had a ball too...all got along great and got their exercise. If Lyric didn't eat the weiners, I don't think he'll go for the Yorkshire pudding either. (Cozy, Kit's dog) He's a picky eater. I'll p.m. you Barrett, and see what you can do with these pics. Thanks! |
