Unhappy I'm not feeling well today...

I just feel like crap. Ugh. I've had a cold since Saterday, and last night I felt awful. About halfway through basketball practice my head started hurting and I was dizzy, and it didn't get better when I got home.
I went to bed at like 8:30 or so, and when mom woke me up this morning at 6:30, it felt like I had only gotten a couple of hours of sleep.
Then when I got out of bed, my head hurt, my stomach hurt, and I was really dizzy. I don't have a feaver, but man do I feel crummy.
So I asked mom if I could stay home from school because there was no way I was going to get ready in time, and I also felt like I was going to throw up so she let me stay home.
I took some advil so I feel better, but I'm still really tired and kinda dizzy....gotta love the colds.

Anybody else just feeling lovely today?

Aw, make sure to get alot of rest and fluids in you. The cold bug hit our household a few weeks ago with me being the last one to get it. I didn't get it as bad as my husband and son and feel it was due to the fact I took some Zicam. Love the stuff!

It sounds like your cold may have turned into a sinus infection. I'm hoping I'm wrong.

I don't think I have a sinus infection. I think it is just lack of sleep that is making me feel this way. Because right now, my stomach doesn't hurt, but I'm still dizzy and really tired. (I'm about ready to go take a nap.) And I normally get dizzy when I need to sleep. And then I think the only reason I felt like I was going to throw up was because of all of the drainage going down into my throat. Yuck.
Basically the cold I have/had was a kinda stuffy nose, but then it felt like I had a silmy golfball stuck in my throat, as well has loosing my voice for a day. Fun fun.

And for everybody else that has colds, hope you all feel better soon!

If I felt as bad as you say you do, there would be no way I would be able to sit at the computer to chat. Anyway, it sounds like you will be ok, so don't worry.

Megan and Lily have really nasty colds. I thought I was going to escape it but no such luck. At least mine is not as bad as theirs. I have the stuffy nose, headache, muscle ache and sore throat. Not so bad.

Poor Lily and Megan are caughing and runny nose [their noses are so red from constantly wiping them] they are slowely feeling better though.

Not much sleep at night when the little ones are sick so that makes it hard but hey it is all part of kids.

Hi there Ritz! Long time no talk to!

I say, grab some critters to keep you company, snuggle in, and keep warm. Do you have a good movie, music, or an audio book to listen to?

Take care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon!

Man that sucks. I recently got over a cold and I hated it. Lots of fluids and rest will help. I usually take nyquil (sp) to knock me out so I dont have to be awake for the sickness. Hope you get to feeling better very soon. REST!!!

A-w-w-w-w...I'm so sorry you feel crummy. Maybe it's a flu, not a cold. Watch out for fever. I think a couple of movies, all cuddled up with your critters sounds perfect. And of course.....a cup of tea and some chicken soup. Get weel soon.
