Shelties are wonderful!My mother had one,hers was my first agility dog..my mother wants another one soooo bad...Their so smart and pretty,loyal and loving...I agree,who couldn't?

Shelties aren't my favorite dog (to much hair! lol) but my 9 year old sister LOVES them. But even though I'm not a big fan of Shelties, I still get annoyed when people call them miniature Collies. That drives me nuts! lol

I agree with you.. I hate when people say oh, its a miniature collie.. I'm always like no, its a sheltie, a totaly diffrent dog breed

A guy I work with calls them mini collies. Cuz He knows I have a collie. I always correct him on it.. It never sinks in. There is a sheltie on my way home that I wish the owners would take care of. He's always out by the road and chases my truck. I'm affraid one of these days I'm gonna hit him

I hate that reference, "mini collies" they still say that at westminister dog show to.

I love shelties, I have had them since I was three, I can't imagine my life without one. As my mom used to say they are like lays chips, betcha can't have just one. We have so many puppy buyers that have at least two of our shelties.

They are intelligent and loyal. The perfect dog, if you can keep up with them!!! lol

There's a little sheltie out here...I see his owner walking him sometimes. Omigosh, is he cute. He's got a nice caot. The only thing I don't really like is the high-pitched bark.

ohhhh i hate when they call them Mini Collies... i drives me crazy!!! ! everyone i met says, oh i love ur Mini Collie... and my face i am sure scares them sometimes, and then i say... ITS A SHELTIE!!! lol! but rele i wanna say that!
