my pup is like only 12-13 weeks and can :
1: Sit 2: Lay 3: Roll Over 4: Play Dead 5: Speak and sometimes all i have to do is give him hand signals, and i know that herders are rele smart, but WOWWIE!! |

My pup is 4 m,onths old and only knows....
~Sit ~Down ~Stay ~Paw ~Come(sometime's) And my pup is a Yellow Labardor!!! But he is cute and i do give in sometime's!!!!! ![]() |

i started the sit when i got him (about 8/9 weeks) and no, no clicker just treats and praise (the old fashion way!!! hahaha!) so hes a good boy!

That's very impressive, and she's only 12-13 weeks.
It just shows that posative reinforcement works wonders when done properly, i'm only getting into Clicker Training but i still prefer Posative Reinforcement over the Clicker, guess im stick in the mud when it comes to methods, not that i don't like the Clicker but i just prefer my way lol ![]() |

srry... that was weird! but i just dont understand the clicker, i mean do you click once for them to sit and twice for them to lay??? o well i pefer my way to!

Its easier to carry my voice around than it is a leash, treat bag, and clicker. The clicker itself isn't what gets the dog to obey, if the dog isn't conditioned to the clicker, or your voice meaning a reward is coming, then it will be worthless, which is why I think I see a few people using clickers and wondering what the hell is going on and the dog won't listen. |
