Question Is Aussie shepherd a vocal dog ??

My Aussie boy is a vocal dog :shiver: , He barks when he's sad, angry, happy etc. He make squeeky noise when he play fetch and frisbee. A unique
squeeky vioce that people can identify him without seeing him.
Does your Aussie bark a lot ??

Ayl your aussie boy is quite normal lol. All dogs have different personalities regardless of breed.

The biggest lie ever told to me was that tibbies dont bark. My izzie can bark with the best of them and takes every oportunity to do so lol

I love dogs that "talk"

Herders tend to be vocal. Tippy is a very vocal dog. Shelties too--a dog breed book I read listed them as a very vocal breed, LOL.

Conversing

Hm, I would have to say Kyaio is most vocal when I speak to her, yup conversations can go on. And when we are gettng ready to go out and do some type of activity, play ball, run, ski, she won't hush, just wants to push me right out the door. But she isn't a loud barker, when she hears other dogs it's usually one response, then she is quiet. Same when someone is at the door. If you walk in, she will surprise you.

I think herders are soooo smart, and love conversing with you.
