Boys will be boys
Wow what a trip this little foster guy is. He's all boy. I watered their dog area yesterday morning and took them out to the dog park to potty all day yesterday instead of letting them get into the wet yard I had created. Well, this morning I figured it was safe to let them go by themselves in the dog yard to play. Well Miss Princess Pants Brandi comes to the house looking pristine and pretty and the puppy is right behind her looking like someone rolled him in the mud! His white legs are all streaked with black, his nose is all dirty and his feet are just black with dirt. Weeeeee what a time I had to coax him to me while holding a towel so I could get the worst of it off of him wondering all the time where he has dug himself a hole under the fence and why he hadn't tried to escape.... I scrubbed him down as good as I could with the towel and let him into the house with Brandi and went searching for this hole I was sure he had excavated in the dog yard...
I found no hole but did find that he had been romping through my hydrangeas and had most of them laying down. (they are over three feet tall this time of year). So that's where the mud and dirt came from... He had wiggled through the 3' garden border fencing and attacked my bushes! What a scamp! He's gonna be all boy for sure! He and Brandi are playing chase and wrestling a little now. It's cute to watch. But Miss Prissy Pants will stop play if she catches us watching her. It's as though she feels embarrassed acting so silly with the puppy. I'm sure there will be lots more news by the end of the week.... Brandi Judy and foster Denver |

I know exactly how you feel. I sometimes watch my sons dog, Seamus who is 75 pounds of all boy and we got smart and bought a cheap fence we can roll out and attach to the corner of the house to the fence so he can't get into all my plants. He has the larger yard though. He knows to wait at the door to get his feet wiped too.
